Haymarket Hotel

The Haymarket hotel is conveniently located near train station and city centre, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. Single room I stayed at was comfortable and beautiful. Hotel is very clean and with attention to details. I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service Jasmine provided during my stay at the Haymarket. Her professionalism and attention to detail truly made a positive impression on me, and I felt warmly welcomed from the moment I arrived. Jasmine made my visit a seamless and enjoyable experience. Very convenient location. The tram from the airport stops within a stones throw of the hotel, and you can hop back on for two stops to the heart of the city. The hotel room was large but the bed was very hard and not comfortable. I stayed three days and my room was only made up on one of those days. The breakfast was good and the staff were polite and helpful.

We stayed in Room 40 and it was just gorgeous! The staff was generally nice and helpful, even helping my wife with our heavy luggage while I had to rush to return the rental car to the agency. The breakfast was a bit so-so but at the end, we enjoyed the stay!

I can't say I agree that this hotel warrants the price. The lobby and dining area is beautifully decorated and the rooms feel spacious with the high ceilings, but as with older buildings, there is some wear and tear that could likely use updating. Namely, the mattress is a lumpy spring mattress. We were grateful to find a hotel that would accommodate two beds for my traveling companion and I (1 king and 1 twin bed). However, the bathroom smells like mildew and they could do better with cleaning of the cobwebs. Great location and quiet area which made the booking worth it for a 1 night stay. The staff were lovely and they offer 2 free drinks at the bar. The bathing toiletries that they supply are limited, so perhaps bring your own.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The tram stop is near, but we usually walked into the old town which took 30 minutes. The bad was big and comfortable, the room was tidy as the bathroom as well. All the staff members were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was good as well. I would recommend You to choose this accommodation.

A warm welcome from reception including walking us to our room. Room was spacious and comfortable with modern facilities. Hotel is handy for the Princess Street or the Grassmarket via a short (20-30 min) walk or tram. Also easily accessible via Haymarket Train station. Lots of nearby cafes and restaurants. Great price for a city centre stay.

Employees are WONDERFUL. They are very helpful and accommodate all requests. This hotel is very easy to get to from the airport and to the rest of Edinburgh (only a 3 minute walk to the tram/bus stop). We had some issues with our shower drain and the nice woman working reception immediately came to fix it. She also gave us recommendations for restaurants in the area and gave us a fan to use during our stay. Plus they give complimentary drinks with your stay (one drink per person). I will be returning to this hotel the next time I come to Edinburgh :)

Das Hotel ist gut zu erreichen und besteht aus mehreren schön renovierten Reihenhäusern . Unser Zimmer war stilgerecht eingerichtet und hat ein kleines aber feines Bad. Auf der Webseite wird nicht zu viel versprochen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Lieben Dank.
