YOTEL Edinburgh

Room is a good size comfortable and clean good lighting and telly.toilet and shower are separate glass walls bit different than other hotels.walking distance to city centre. Some street noise at night from busy road outside. Breakfast good variety. Used self check in/out very straight forward to use.no tea or coffee making facilities in room but mini frighe. Would stay again.

My friend and I stayed for two nights and had a great time. Although the hotel itself doesn’t necessarily feel very “historic”, the space is very modern and innovative, we did feel like we were in a great location and that it didn’t take away from the experience at all. Our hair dryer wasn’t working and neither was our phone when we arrived, but we spoke to the staff at the front desk and we were able to get a new hairdryer and maintenance to fix the phone eventually. Overall great space, we had enough room for our luggage and space to hang coats/ store shoes. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash were phenomenal (I typically bring my own but they just smelled too good not to try). The breakfast was normal, nothing phenomenal and exciting but it was exactly what we needed to get the day started. The location wasn’t as close as we expected to Old Town, but the public transportation was reliable, frequent and easy to use, so it was no issue. I wish I could’ve stayed longer!

We stayed 3 nights here at yotel and we really enjoyed our stay. Beds were pretty comfy and the king room for 3 people was very big. Bathroom was a bit of an odd setup and a bit open. But overall was clean. Front desk service were very busy but helped us for all our needs. The bar area was a bit dirty however which was a turnoff when we arrived to store luggage.
