Language Academy Wales

I am from Poland and I have worked with LAW for 2 months. I had a great time there and I have learnt a lot! Mike is a very professional and he really cares about all interns. LAW is a good place to improve yourself, to learn how to behave professionally, how to solve problems. I have been involved in project Erasmus + Key 1 and I have gained first experience in management and leadership. I have met a lot of nice people here and I have improved my English skills. I have become more positive person and now I believe that I can be successful in my life. Cardiff is also beautiful city, a lot of things to do here. I really enjoyed my time there!

Being part of the LAW team was for me an amazing time. My EVS experience was part of KA2 programme. During my 2 months stay in Cardiff, I improved my English skills and I learned more about British culture. I enjoyed my time in LAW, I met people from different countries here, staff were very friendly and helpful. Many thanks to LAW and Erasmus+ for this great opportunity.

I am from Poland and my sending organisation is EFM. Thanks to them I have been able to come to Cardiff. In my 2 months long internship I have learnt a lot of leadership and management skills. I have met lots of different people from different countries and made friends with people I could not meet otherwise. I am really thankful to the whole staff in LAW for making my first job abroad nice and informative the same time. I believe that this internship will contribute to my personal development in the future and will help me develop my career path.

My experience in LAW was amazing from the beginning to the end. I met many friendly, funny and talented people who are passionate about their work and are always ready to help. I lived with a host family which helped me learn about their culture and ways of living. I would do it all over again if I could. I really appreciate all their support and I'm thankful for the beautiful experience of learning about Cardiff and Wales.

Hello everyone, I am from Turkey. I have worked with LAW as a volunteer for 7 months. Cardiff is really lovely and calm city and it’s also close to some cities which you shouldn’t come back before you visit. All LAW team members were kind and helpful and being part of the LAW team was an amazing time for me. I have learned about the Erasmus + KA1 and KA2 projects. I have involved team working with volunteers from different countries. I helped in the office administer works. You will have chance to join trainings, it’s really helpful to improve employability skills. I was really happy with my host family, they helped me about everything, and I totally felt its home. I have improved my English and learned British culture with them. I believe this experience is going to help me for my future life.

I am from Poland and have worked with LAW for six months. I had a fantastic time there and learned a lot! Mike is a really professional man. Harri and Lloyd from there were also exceptionally helpful. LAW is an excellent place to build yourself, learn how to conduct professionally, handle problems, and gain many other essential skills for the workplace. I've also met other wonderful folks and polished my English by chatting with native speakers. I've grown more optimistic and confident in my potential. Cardiff is a fantastic city, so good that I decided to try my luck here and stay longer.

I am from Italy. I have worked in LAW for one year thanks to the Erasmus+ in particular to the CARE project. I was involved in different and innovative projects. The staff of LAW is very professional and available to help me on a daily basis. I followed various training courses such as , ILM and ECDL with CCW. These training are important for my career progression. Thanks this experience that have improved my professional skills.

If you want to improve yourself, this is the right place! I've worked there as a volunteer for six months; I had a very pleasant experience while there. A small office with great manager and administration, lovely tutors and a very cosy environment! Everybody is very nice and friendly, absolutely suggested! From what I've seen people seemed to have really enjoyed their stay here as well as their volunteering. As for me, I would be a volunteer there again if I could, the team is wonderfully nice and I've spend great moments there. I would greatly recommend the Language Academy Wales to anyone who needs to learn professional work life and how to solve problem. Additionally, in my time there we didn't have a single person walk out of the Language Academy Wales without being happy about their course and volunteering time which is a great achievement.
