The food was excellent, and we had a great time! It was my birthday dinner and the guys made it so special. They showed up with a custom-made sweet, wishing me happy birthday! I would definitely be back! Thank u guys!

Schade eigentlich, ich hätte deutlich mehr erwartet. Das Essen war gut, aber auch nicht mehr und das ruiniert das Personal, Eine Stunde warten ist eigentlich keine Seltenheit, aber noch besser ist tatsächlich, dass man wirklich aufpassen muss, dass man bekommt was man bestellt. Darüber hinaus kann man fehlerhafte Lieferung gut auf der Rechnung nachvollziehen. Irre wirds zum Schluss, man würde kein Trinkgeld geben für diese Serviceleistung, deswegen werden gleich 10 % mit auf die Rechnung aufgeschlagen, ohne vorher einen Hinweis zu gebeb, in Karte, verbal etc. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

We were asked to take a seat at the bar, as our table wasn’t ready. Fair enough but the two bar staff didn’t acknowledge us, instead loaded the dishwasher. I should note we were the only two at the bar. Once we ordered our drinks it was clear they weren’t experienced, ordered Hendricks gin. They were served in slims, and asked if we wanted limes or lemon. 🤷🏻u200d♀️ Moved to the table where we waited a long duration to order. Long time to receive food. We now sit 25 minutes with no clearing table service or follow up to ask how we are doing, even if we liked our food let alone would you like coffee or dessert. The food was delicious, the service is shocking. The poor couple next to us were served their well done steaks before they even received their starters. The staff need training and management needs to do a better job of coverage. Follow up made the mistake of using the facilities before leaving. In a sad state, our visit was Sunday and appears the toilet hadn’t been attended properly since Friday. 😳🤦🏻u200d♀️

Pre theatre menu 2 course £20 each Good rump steak and chips. Pepper sauce £1.70 extra. Tasty chicken and potato gratin. Restaurant temperature could have been a bit lower and background music was a bit Rocky and random. Overall experience was very good and our server Emily had a lovely friendly smile and was very helpful and pleasant.

I've spoken with the owner directly he called me and I'll be updating this review upon my return. I don't normally do returns to places I don't rate highly as it should be good all the time . But as my steak was amazing and the other negative points have been addressed by the manager I just feel they do deserve a second chance so watch this space for a newer update

Food was great (superb steak and buffalo wings were 👌), Atmosphere was great with the cook ur own steak on the stones, but the Service was fantastic, great staff, extremely friendly and helpful. Refreshing experience.

Great atmosphere, lively. You can smell the steak on a stone as you walk in . We had the 3 bites options for starters. Broccoli wings, goats cheese balls and peppers . 8/10 , I'd like a bit of spice in the batter . We both had the baked cod with orzo - 10/10 9 year old had the kids steak on the stone with chips , very good , chips 10/10. Good selection of beers although had no ipa available. Good selection of spirits. Sticky toffee pud was sublime 10/10 Will go again

Visited last night and as a vegan I was very pleasantly surprised. The tempura tender stem broccoli was one of the nicest things I’ve ever had and the soup of the day, hand cut chips u0026 brocolli wings were also beautiful. The only thing I would love to see them improve would be the main course offering, something like a vegan steak would be great!
