ODEON Luxe Edinburgh West

Paid for isense to see the Creator. We were warned there was an issue with the lights and there potentially could be an issue when we watch the film. Despite the flickering of lights during the ads the lights were off during the film so it was okay. Like almost all cinemas, the price of snacks is incredibly high. Staff pleasant and informative. the cinema was basically empty which was nice too. However, my biggest complaint is the reclining seats. They really don't recline enough so they're not actually that comfortable for a 185cm person. I've had better recline seats in other odeon Luxes

We love going to this cinema! It’s much further away than our local cinemas but worth the journey. Firstly, the tickets tend to be less expensive than other Odeon branches and secondly, the comfortable reclining seats and little tables are a fantastic touch. Makes the experience much more enjoyable; particularly when it’s a long film. No more numb bums! There is a good selection of drinks and snacks and the service has always been quick and friendly.

Went there to see oppenheimmer film, very expensive for hot dogs nachos and ice cream. Went to get our seats, and I couldn't believe how dirty the seat and floor was. I had to use my tissues to clean my seat as there was popcorn all over it. The air conditioning was switched off, the sound volume was very very loud, so loud that you couldn't hear what the actors were saying.. This film was on for 3 hours, it was disgraceful... Wow t be back there ever again.

Lovely cinema. Both the cinema and toilets are always clean and presentable. Friendly, welcoming staff. It is a ground floor cinema with easy disabled entry and dedicated spaces for wheelchair users. The parking is outdoors with disabled spaces at the front and side of the building. If you are a little early there are other shops at the complex for a quick browse before your show.

The outside is a bit shabby but it's a very accessible cinema in the west side of Edinburgh with lots of parking. Inside there are a lot of screens, spacious seating, and friendly staff. Watched 'The Creator' and loved it.

Dried ketchup all over my seat. Screen was quite booked out online but turned out to be empty with recliners that didn't work being unbookable. Expensive popcorn quite stale, am aware cinema popcorn is expensive but should be edible. Toilets lovely and clean. Nice staff.

The service for the food is very very poor, £45 for a pop corn , 2 nachos and 3 drinks.l, we all know it's crazy prices at the cinema but the service is as bad as the prices now unfortunately.. a shame as the cinema should be an enjoyable experience, it's obvious why so many cinemas struggle. Just not good service or value for money..

Best cinema near me by a mile! Big huge comfy seats and rotating tray for drinks and snacks. Just remember you are now aloud to bring your own snacks.
