Nice place for a drink and something to eat before the match.

Not only is Pop Recs a gorgeous, ambient coffee shop, with to-die-for coffee, wonderful staff and amazing food. It also doubles up as one of the best, if not the best music venues in Wearside. If you haven’t yet been, you’re missing out!

The atmosphere is great with a fab buzz inside. The sandwiches are really tasty and the coffee is the best tasting in the city centre. It only loses one star for me as the cups are too small and I wanted the great taste to last longer.

Really nice place for coffee and food with a lovely atmosphere. The food is delicious and all vegetarian! Highly recommend a visit. 5 stars

By far the best place in Sunderland! Went for lunch and had the Turkish eggs which were so good and the barrista Luke made easily the best coffee I've had in England. I also went for a gig which was amazing. The set up is very appealing and the space has such a good vibe. It has a nice community feel which I found very welcoming as a visitor. I thought the drinks were very reasonably priced too for the quality of the venue.

The first time here today, had a decaf americano and a toast( from focaccia bread) with marmade, which were very tasty It has a cool cozy vibe, nice music, very friendly staff. They also do vegan focaccia, croissants, soups, vegan porridge.
