Wow wow wow! I am absolutely blown away by this garage. I took my Qashqai in for a suspected faulty turbo. They ran a diagnostic and determined, from this, that the turbo wasn’t faulty and the advice was just to deal with the slightly annoying noise. Fast forward a few weeks and my car broke down. Faulty turbo. You’d think I’d be given a one star review but I contacted the garage and they told me to bring my car straight in. They worked so hard to fit my car in to an already rammed schedule and found that in fact the turbo was faulty and needed fully replacing. Luckily my engine as undamaged! I was in communication with the garage throughout and there was little to no discussion about who would be covering the cost of replacing the turbo. Due to the misdiagnosis by them, they covered the cost of parts and labour. I was honestly blown away by the professionalism, honesty and kindness! I will 100% be recommending this garage to friends and family and have definitely found another garage that I would feel completely comfortable taking my car into. I will certainly be a returning customer in the future

These guys are amazing. Especially the lady at reception she’s lovely and really helpful. My Audi a3 went in for an abs sensor ended up needing the wheel barring done too. They do payment assist too which is really a life saver as sometimes it costs more than you anticipate, like today. They are quick and efficient, they call you to let you know what’s going on so there are no hidden costs. As a woman I feel comfortable going there knowing I’m not about to be ripped off, everyone is so friendly and helpful and upfront and honest which is what I love most about this business. For context, I was recommended this place by a trusted friend who is a mechanic, and I have visited this workshop a few times now. During my experiences these guys have communicated very well, and have satisfied all of my many questions, helping me to understand where and why my car has had issues (today, to satisfy my wish to learn more about cars, I was handed the faulty part with an explanation of where it came from). Previously, after performing some repairs on my own car, they were kind enough to check to ensure there were no issues with my work. The staff here are extremely thorough with their checks and accurate with their work. They are objective and fair with their advice (particularly when helping me to decide whether my car was worth saving) and give balance arguments to help you make any big decisions, while encouraging you to consider what best your needs and preferences; with that said they, these mechanics are not the type encourage you to make futile repairs for profit. I'd like to sincerely thank Jamie, who probably has a 'frequent caller log' for me now, Mechanic James (if I remember correctly) and everyone else who has worked on my Yaris.

Had suspension problems with my VW caddy. I took it to automax on Friday morning and by Friday evening I was back mobile again having had both springs and shock absorbers replaced along with all the required bushes. I also had a bronze service including oil/brake fluid filter etc. I was happy with the speedy service and communication from the office. Many thanks to Automax.

I do not recommend this car service. I have used the services several times. There have always been problems. When replacing the tires, the rims were damaged, when there was a problem with the wheel bearing, they told me that the differential was damaged. When I did the remap they had to correct it several times and after a year the head gasket was damaged by too high EGT (repair cost me 2k) They don't know how to do remap correctly... don't waste your time and money!

Diagnosed my daughters car with a ECU failure after a number of garages did not take the time to look properly. Communication was great and ensured the car was 100% before returning.

I have used Automax for some time now for both cars and vans, not only are they an absolute pleasure to work with, their work is outstanding and they have a commitment to customer service. I have complete faith in their abilities, however difficult the task, and they always go the extra yard. By far, the best garage I have ever used.
