08-26-2023 18:45I stayed for three days. This is what I liked about the hotel. It's nice, clean and sweet. The receptionists are nice and lovely to deal with. As a family, we were received and treated well. Breakfast is very nice and is served at the breakfast room. You have all sorts of choices. You can have fruits of all sorts. THE SHOWER ROOM AND TOILET are ❣️💓. This is my best part of the room. The beds are very comfortable and even the sofa bed was 💤🤙. This is what I didn't like. The nice receptionist when we came in should have asked us if we wanted assistance to use the key fob to our room. I wasn't familiar with using this card fobs to open the door to my room. We're stacked behind our door for minutes until another neighbour came to help. The toilet roll holder in our room kept falling off. Well this wasn't their fault, but on Fridays and Saturdays night till 2.30 3.00am, it can be noisy outside. A VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE I had was that, the steam and scent suckers or vents did not work. One receptionist told me that that is how they worked. 6 hours after pooping and the scent is still in the nice toilets...!! I really didn't enjoy that part. I wish at least that part of the toilet would be sorted. When you put on the light to the toilet, the vents are to be active not passive.

06-28-2023 09:23When we first entered the hotel, the receptionists were quite nice, although one did sigh rudely. When we were given our room it had a pungent odour to it. One of the key cards provided were broken, although getting it re-done, it still didn't work. The showers had good pressure and the bathroom was decently clean. The beds had crisp fresh linen but the pillowcases felt used. The breakfast was just okay. We stayed for three days and each day they got one of our orders wrong. Another 30 minute wait until we got the correct breakfast. In the restaurant there was a horrible couple steps. They were so steep I am surprised to see that they got past the health and safety laws. My friends and toddler fell down these stairs multiple times. One of these times my friends were holding orange juice, which spilled all over their brand new jumper. The staff couldn't care less. My toddler enjoyed when Santa came in and took a picture with him. I never new there were York accents in the north pole! During our stay, a group of visitors at the hotel contiously knocked on our door. We were very distressed and all stayed in a room together. Eventually when my friends went to go back to their room a staff member came to tell us that their was a noise complaint. We told them that it wasn't us making the noise and that it was other guests. They patronisingly laughed and told us that at our age she would have done the same. Me, being in my mid thirties with a condition that made my body not develop properly so I look much younger than I actually do was upset by this comment. She looked not a day of 18 and to talk condescendingly to me seemed very rude. She said if I made the noise again I would be kicked out. Very unfair given it wasn't even us. I was thinking of bringing it up with reception, only to realise she worked reception too. Many of the workers there were youths. They didn't have the same standards and the hotel halls had litter in them. There was a nice server at dinner who was very helpful. The location was just okay. If you want a cheap stay at an okay hotel with bad staff then this is the place for you. Personally, I enjoy a smiling face and understanding staff. Not rude people who don't take you seriously and judge you for your looks. The playground outside was rotting and not well catered to. The slide was full of sludgy leaves and dirt. the ground was slippy and not well gritted. My toddler slipped multiple times. I don't think that I will be taking my business to Premier Inn again but I hope that the other ones are better than this.

06-08-2023 04:32Stayed here overnight as our way point between Edinburgh and Inverness. The location is great, but that's it. Our last Holiday Inn Express gave us 3 drink vouchers, one for each of us in my family, but only got 1 here. They say breakfast starts at 730, but people were down here at 7/715 eating breakfast. The best service had here was last night at the bar as bartender was super friendly. I couldn't even find anyone this morning to ask for gluten-free bread or cereal and thus pretty much ate nothing for breakfast as bacon was cold and eggs were gross. This seems to be a frequent overnight stop for tour groups and would not recommend as overly crowded. The room was extremely warm all night despite having the window open, and whatever the heater/ac unit thing in the room was doesn't work either. In the bathroom, there was still the sticker on the shower glass about installing it, which makes me wonder how well they actually clean. I would not recommend this hotel and would recommend passing Aberdeen in general and staying in one of the surrounding cities

05-05-2023 13:35Stayed here for 2 days at last week . Prime location and lots of places nearby to try good and variety foods. Rooms are neat and clean but felt a bit hot. Free parking is only limited to maximum 10 cars at the backside , but the city center parking is nearby, over night parking is free over there. The restaurant is congested at the prime time and you may need to wait outside to find a seat , also the items are average. I could say there are many times missing from the English breakfast. Staffs are cooperative but the check in process is a bit slow especially if couple of people are in front of you , most of the time they operate with one staff at the reception.

04-15-2023 09:00Excellent location, great rooms, fantastic shower and a surprisingly awesome breakfast. Only two minor complaints- change your free shower gel u0026 shampoo - noone wants to smell like salad! And ran out of juice every day at breakfast. Otherwise - definitely recommend 👌
