I got a job via an agency with this umbrella company - worst EVER. They take nearly £480 from me !!!! It's a total joke, nearly half my wages gone!!! Plus I get paid weekly, so they take over £100 weekly... Its a joke. DO NOT EVER GO WITH THIS COMPANY !!! At first I thought it was ok but I didn't look into the minor details at first until I started getting paid.. then realised what conning b*****s they are! Not even worth 1 star if you ask me... Luckily, I have just moved to another umbrella company and they have estimated at least another £30 a week... so I am hoping this is true ! Thanks for the reply Ship Shape, but still does not improve anything. You take £14.90 a week for admin fees? .. Its nearly £80 a month out of my hard earned money to pay someone else to pay me? I don't understand it. Its a rip off ! Then I am charged Apprenticeship Levy, Empoyer Tax, Employee Tax, Employee NI.... I am paying for a service I don't want... I have worked for many agencies before and never had this problem !!! Also, as you can see from all the other reviews on here... they are all the same !

I worked for them years ago and when I first imagrated here. They pushed me to pay for a cscs operative ticket and they kept the card and refused to give me the ticket even though I paid for it and it didn't cost them a penny. They had a pretty bad reputation in the construction industry so I wasn't with them very long.

It's hard to believe that a company like Ship Shape can still provide any service. Who wants to use them? So many bad reviews, such poor service, big mess with payslips that you can not understand anything. They are good at taking hard earned money, that is it. My company recently got rid of them for good. If you still haven't changed your agency do it as soon as possible. Just saying.

Shipshape are a great payroll company. If I every have any queries regarding candidate registration, payments or time-sheets they are dealt with in a timely manner. I have had no complaints for any of my temporary workers. Brooke, Luke and Jack have been fantastic. I would recommend them completely.

1 star is one too many for this guys. They are so unprofessional and I had a job where I was supposed to be payed umbrella, this guys did not pay my taxes to revenue but pay slip showed I was deducted NINO. I was being payed X amount of money, from this money they deducted my holiday money and NINO, in the same payslip they payed back my holiday money and deducted NINO again (unbelievable) THIEVES. WHEN I GOT MY P45 FROM THEM I HAD 0 ON MY TAXES PAYED. THEY SEND ME A P60 LINK , in order to open it I had to agree. I hit the agree button and try to download and saying inexistent file

I have found Ship Shape to be responsive and professional in there approach. Ensuring the customer is at the heart of there service, very knowledgeable around compliance in the industry and a wealth of experience across all teams to help you understand the complexity's around UK payment laws.

As a client with a small payroll to fulfill, I expected many times for them to be dismissive or slow to respond, knowing that they have lots of clients to serve. But they made themselves available by phone and email readily, and were friendly and helpful long after I expected them to begin to blow me off. My most sincere thanks to James and his team.

I don’t know why such bad reviews. Just be polite and you’ll get somewhere. they’re honestly a great team I must say. Very helpful. Hats off to Debbie (Customer service manager) for her great work.
