Formula One Autocentres - Leeds

Been to this garage since I got my car a few years ago and never had a problem but the last time I took my car in over a query of a loud noise coming from the front of the car. They looked at and cleaned what they thought was the problem and when I drove out of the garage the engine warning light came on so I drove back and mentioned it to the staff. They weren’t too worried about checking what the problem was and said it’s probably come on due to the original problem and not to worry too much and get it to a specialist the next week. Not happy with this response I went to another garage for a second opinion who did a diagnostic and repaired the fault in a couple of hours. Not sure why they couldn’t take my car back and look at the engine warning light fault that suddenly appeared after they looked at my car.

I visit the Gelderd Rd site with a flat. I’m not local to Leeds but was driving that way for work. I had previously had breakdown recovery out who inflated my tyre and plugged a hole from a nail that had punctured and subsequently fallen out. I was specifically told by the breakdown mechanic ‘when you take this to the garage don’t tell them tell you the tyre can’t be repaired that’s 100% repairable’ Only to be told by the mechanic at this place that it would be illegal for him to repair the tyre based on where the damage was. They then tried to sell me a £220 tyre which wouldn’t even match the other tyres on my car so I declined. As the mechanic brought my car back out to me he said that if I took it elsewhere someone might repair it but they would be ‘dodgy’ This morning I took my car to my usual tyre place, tyre power in bradford who fixed the repair no questions asked £10. Clearly the men at F1 Autocentres saw a young woman in a new Mercedes and thought they could pull a fast one. Disgraceful behaviour and I will be warning anyone and everyone I know to avoid the place.

I've been using these guys now for the last couple of years. Both for MOT u0026 service for my car u0026 van. I'm always greeted in a friendly manner. The work is always carried out promptly u0026 any additional works are discussed in detail prior to being carried out. Prices are reasonable in comparison to others. Would highly recommend.

Good price on tyres, got time slot, would recommend and use again . Staff who worked there were friendly.

The guys that work here are great, fit us in after someone hit our car to check it over and they were super helpful and knowledgeable - would defo recommend (and the garage is clean, tidy and had a waiting room; always a bonus)

Avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid. It is the baddest service. I have ever seen in Leeds. The staff are rude and they don’t give you the right time. They don’t care if you are late. I’ll ring them 3 o’clock and I told them I’m travelling at 4:30. I would like to change my front tires they told me over the phone. It’s going to take 20 to 30 minutes. I went there 3:30 and I was waiting till 4:30 when I go to speak with one of them he said to me they just start it now, and I was late on and the work meeting has been cancelled. I lost money. I waste time for a bad service so please don’t try it

Brilliant service. Great bunch of guys. Work was done to a high standard and the car feels so much better. Prices are excellent too!
