Fantastic service Mike sorted my bike out with no problem at all also his trusty companion Chris je james is a top notch bike shop if your looking for brilliant high end bikes with high end service then je james is the one ... seen a few reviews saying that it's expensive that's because the top quality bikes you buy cheap you buy twice...... thanks Mike...... and chris:)

Just had my Orbea Wild FS frame replacement done by Adam. Excellent service, warranty honoured, going to be my bike dealers for the rest of my life. I love the service I get at JE James.

They gave us fantastic service. Me and my partner both bought Brompton electric bikes. It was a very big expense for us and been giving it some time and thought. We contacted them to buy and arranged a date for pick up. But having bought the bike I received some upsetting news about my health. I connected them to see if they could get the bikes ready earlier for us due to my developing situation. They responded to my request really well and got them ready for us today pick up. All was fully explained about the bikes and how fold the bikes with a great deal of care so we wouldn't damage them trying to fold them the wrong way and all about the electric side of things. Even though they were very busy we got a one to one without being interrupted. And a very professional and informative lengthy instruction. We where there quite some time and never felt like we were hurried to pay up and leave. This covid virus has put them under a lot of pressure I think due to so many people wanting a different form of transport to keep safe. I would be very happy to buy again. I only went into the shop to see if they could fix a faulty back light and left with two software updates, two found gears, a full service and a thorough inspection of my Brompton Electric bike, as well as a new back light. Top marks to Chris, to whom nothing, or so it would appear, was too much trouble. A brilliant experience so please, please, give the man a pay rise!

The whole team really are incredible. Couldn't be more helpful if they tried, and really genuinely friendly. We recently bought an e-bike with a plan to tow our kids in a trailer and they took time to talk through our options, and make sure that we ended up with a bike that was going to meet all our requirements (powerful enough to tow, compatible with the connection to our trailer, right size, within budget etc.) There was never any feeling of pushy sales tactics, and every interaction we've had has been friendly but professional. Extra special shout out to mechanic Chris who gave me a really thorough intro to our new bike, and an all round really excellent chat :) Thanks guys!

The workshop is disorganised, with staff carrying out work without approval.. latest is that I’ve been waiting 6 weeks for a campag part to be sent from Italy - when the same part is available next day at 33% less than what I’ve been charged. Throughout the 6 weeks there have been no updates, even when I’ve been promised a call back.. parts ordered, outside of the original request. When I asked to see the part to be replaced, to check the claim it was seized, it couldn’t be found (I got other replaced parts along with the bike). I’ve used this workshop a number of times in the past and the staff have always been polite and knowledgeable - this time, no one knew what was going on, where things were, couldn’t find my order on the system, and no apology - just got told I probably did get a phone call and that they’re too busy to get anything wrong.

My wife and I purchased an e-bike here. We were treated very well by knowledgeable staff (esp Mike) who listened carefully and told us everything we needed to know. Bike collection was relatively smooth, and we received fantastic service from Chris and Freddy who were friendly and helpful.

I picked up my first Brompton bike today from this store. I had a vague idea of what I was looking for before going but definitely needed and wanted to speak to someone with knowledge and experience of Brompton Bikes. I arrived early and the store was quiet so I was lucky that the salesman and all round Brompton expert Gavin was available to chat to me. He spent plenty of time talking through my options and requirements and also made time to go the extra mile with extra advice, and how to care for the bike, which was very much appreciated. It was clear he had a passion for all things Brompton and his customer care was excellent. Thank you Gavin - a superb service. I'll see you again soon for more questions!
