Europcar Amsterdam Downtown ^🇳🇱

PLEASE SEND HELP. We have been stranded in the middle of the countryside for over 6 hours without food or water or any type of service and limited cell signal. We are freezing as I am typing this at 2:30 JAN 3. We rented a car today that broke down with engine failure and stopped working in the middle of the highway, almost causing us to be hit by a truck behind us. Now it cannot even start to keep us warm. We have tried calling the 24/7 customer service number only to be hung up on and told that they couldn't do anything and did not care. Their lack of concern and rudeness is really terrifying and I am afraid for my life at this point. Updated at 3:30am: Customer service claims they cannot help until the next morning and that I should make my own transportation and hotel arrangements with no reimbursements or help from them. This would be hundreds of dollars out of pocket that I cannot afford, even if a taxi company could miraculously come all the way out in the middle of nowhere.

Huur afgezegd, omdat ik de pincode van mijn credit card niet wist. Gelukkig bij Alamo bij Centraal Station wel kunnen huren zonder pincode. Verder mijn betaalde huur voor de gereserveerde auto nog niet terug gehad. Bijzonder onhandig dat ze dit niet vermelden bij de instructies. Daarnaast is het nogal vreemd dat je je auto om 12 uur moet ophalen op zaterdag, maar dat dat dan ook hun sluitingstijd is.

SOLDI MAI PIÙ VISTI!!! È vergognoso, ho lasciato come previsto 300€ di cauzione e restituito la macchina il 18 giugno, mi avevano detto che ci sarebbero voluti al massimo 10 giorni per la restituzione ed ancora NULLA! Ho scritto al servizio clienti più volte e telefonato molte volte, continuano a dire che il bonifico è stato emesso ed arriverà.. ma quando? Tra poco sarà passato un mese è assurdo! Ho sempre noleggiato macchine all’estero e nel giro di pochi giorni ho sempre riavuto i soldi della cauzione indietro. È impensabile non restituire 300€ ad un cliente (oltretutto la macchina è stata lasciata in perfette condizioni e con il pieno, come previsto). In più abbiamo prelevato e riportato la macchina al 6 piano di un parcheggio, il che vuol dire girare su se stessi per 12 volte (2 rampe a piano).. da voltastomaco! Spero che nessun altro ci cada, vergognatevi!

I drove VW Taigo. The car was very clean. I got back the car at late night and I was able to leave the car easily. Staff was very kindly and helpfull. Deposit returned very quickly. Thanks for everything.

Amsterdam da bulunan araç kiralama yeri. Çok yardımcı oldular. Siz söylemeden indirim yapıyorlar. Fiyatlar gayet uygun. Başka bir araç kiralama yeri aramanıza gerek yok. Mutlaka uğrayın.

تجربة ممتازة للأمانة، كنت متخوف بسبب التقييمات السيئة لكن تجربتي ممتازة جدا، استأجرت السيارة قبلها بيوم من التطبيق مع تأمين شامل يوم وصلت طلب الموظف الرخصة الدولية + المحلية والجواز وبطاقة ائتمانية ( stc pay ) الفيزا مقبولة، ودفعت مبلغ وديعة ٣٠٠ يورو رجعت لي ثاني يوم من تسليم السيارة، الاشكالية الي واجهتني اول ما استلمت السيارة كانت قير عادي ورجعت للموظف قلت انا حاجز اوتوماتيك قال لا عادي قلت ما يمديك تغيرها؟ قال ما عندي متوفر راجعت حجزي صار اوتوماتيك ورجعت له واعتذر وعوضني بسيارة بنفس المواصفات الي اخترتها رجعت السيارة بالمطار وبنزين كامل ( ضروري )

My recent encounter with Europcar Amsterdam Downtown was an absolute disaster! Despite confirming my booking and paying in advance, they shamelessly refused to provide the car I reserved. The staff offered no valid explanation and displayed a dismissive attitude, leaving me stranded without transportation. It's appalling how they treat paying customers! Don't even bother relying on Europcar Amsterdam Downtown unless you enjoy being stranded and mistreated!
