10-14-2023 11:31There was an error on my invoice at my visit at the Spa Carré St-Louis. They charged me 152$ for 2 person (3hours) while it should have been 135$. I had to go back to the reception to tell them about their mistake on the invoice. My advice is verify your bill. If I wouldn’t have notice anything, I would have got robbed. It’s only a 17$ difference but they should not overcharge the clients.

09-23-2023 19:43Very well appointed rooms. Extremely clean. Very comfortable. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was impressive. Fresh fruit, fresh baked goods, yogurts, juices, etc. You won't find better value-for-dollar in Montreal. Reception people were efficient, friendly, and very professional. A great experience. Will return.

08-14-2023 19:29This is a very nice boutique hotel in a convenient location. Apart from the bars and restaurants within the walking distance and a 10 minute Uber ride from the Old Montreal, this hotel has a big plus - its own newly- opened spa!!! Eucalyptus steam room, spacious jet pool, sauna, lounge area. After a 3-day of the exploring the city on foot this exactly what you need. Service was great, everybody is super nice and friendly. We’d stay here again!

07-30-2023 01:40Rated with a single star, our experience was profoundly disappointing. Despite pre-booking two rooms for a three-day stay via Booking, our plans unraveled. A flight delay pushed our arrival to August 5th, which we promptly informed the hotel about via email. Despite this, our rooms were given away. The hotel had already charged our non-refundable booking. Stranded with no rooms on August 5th, a promised upgrade never materialized, leading us to drive over 50km for lodging. Our second attempt yielded no upgrade but another night's charge. We paid for four nights, barely staying one. A new receptionist even demanded $40 without reason. One room wasn't prepared; we were handed sheets to make the bed. The manager's eventual admission of their mistake only led to partial reimbursement and no consideration for additional costs. While errors happen, their poor service and inability to resolve their own error were unacceptable. This situation wasted our money, patience, and valuable time. Room quality and breakfast matched their star rating.

07-20-2023 10:59I decided on this hotel but was a little bit concerned because of the mixed reviews. I am surprised that some guests had a negative experience because mine was very positive. I initially had a small room but that was not unexpected based on the description ,as it had everything and was clean. When getting some service to my television the concierge suggested that he can upgrade me to a larger room to be much more comfortable, without an additional charge. I was very grateful and definitely much happier once I moved into the new room. This consideration was also made because I was staying for an entire week. The service was always great and my privacy was respected when I didn’t require any housekeeping. As I was facing the main road, it was a little bit noisy at times but as I live in downtown Toronto, I was used to this situation. Bring earplugs if noise bothers you. As a continental breakfast was included ,it was what you would expect being of good quality and satisfying. I like the area which was close to a park, a pedestrian only area, as well as , to a number of really good restaurants. The Metro station was a few minutes away which would connect me to other parts of Montreal with ease. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this hotel and I definitely will be back in the future.

05-30-2023 19:19I had booked the hotel 2 weeks prior to the stay. I received an email the day preceding our stay, to inform me there was a problem with the credit card and that I needed to call before the next day 15h to give a new card. I called immediately upon reception of said email. I provide a new credit card, the employee on the phone assures me everything is fine. We get to the hotal the day and the receptionnsit informs us that the room was cancelled because of payment, the proceed to fault me for not calling... which I did way before deadline... At that time, he was also on the phone with another client to cancel their reservation saying it was not their fault and the system had double booked. We were not offered anything and left without a room. They are disrespectful and entitled. NOT RECOMMENDED
