Location is amazing if you only want to sleep somewhere at night just a little bit more comfortable and cleaner than sleeping on the street. Don’t expect anything that you would expect from a hotel. Our room didn’t have a bathroom and an AC. Bed and pillow super uncomfortable. The whole place is a mess. But if you’re actually ok with all above, I guess you can have a good stay there.

I do not recommend this accommodation to you at all for the reasons I will write below. Firstly, my room was room 610 on the sixth floor. After I booked the room and paid for it, I found out that the elevator only goes up to the 5th floor and after that the only way to reach the room was through the stairs. There were not any refrigerator or even a bottle of water in the room just There were two towels for three nights; In addition, the building was very old, so that the old and damp smell conveys the feeling of staying in a prison, and the crack that was on the door of the room caused the door to close hard and with a lot of noise. Also, the water in the bathroom was never heated and I had to take a cold shower. When you reach the entrance of the building, the surrounding area is full of homeless people, which conveys a very bad and scary feeling, especially at night. I had originally booked the room for three nights, but it was too bad that I couldn't stay there for more than one night, and finally the hotel manager refused to cancel my reservation for two extra nights and refund the amount; I paid 320 euros for this room, at this price I could choose a clean and high-quality hotel. Don't make this mistake at all!

AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID I discourage anyone and everyone from every considering staying in this place. My wife and I attempted to check. Were harassed by people outside. We tried to notify and contact the hotel but received no response. We then tried to contact the hotel using the AIR bnb message system. They continued to send automated-generated messages and it was nearly impossible to get in touch with a human. The hotel was completely disregarding of our experience and what happened to us and it was nearly impossible to get anyone on the line. This place is an absolute disaster. Worst of all is that they didn't even honor the refund - which essentially demonstrates how miserably run this place is . AVOID AT ALL COST

The perfect one star ⭐ hotel that is not a hotel at all. Seriously they should be fined for calling themselves a hotel, a hotel implies hospitality, which they do not provide. This is an Air BnB run like hotel, only poorly. Air BnB's were never intended to run this way and someone has bastardized it into a business model. Full disclosure, I was traveling with a couple for work. There is no ventilation in the rooms at all. No vents, that's got to violate some kind of code right? The window was open with the air conditioner on for circulation, keep in mind this is October so fortunately it wasn't too cold. The latch piece of the air conditioner didn't fit properly in the window sill, and on our second morning the fuse blew so the air conditioning stopped and it never got switched on by the hotel for the 6 hours we remained there. It's funny how we were told checkout is 11 am and check in is 4 pm that's a big turnaround time considering going by other reviews they don't do turnover in the rooms. It's so funny how hotels like this have you pay and you are expected to do that upkeep yourself. We're not messy people at all so it's no issue, but again, where is the hospitality? This is so backwards. You are given a combination to the hotel and a combination to the room. Our door 🚪 was chipped off on the bottom with a quilt tapered to the bottom of the door so there's no insulation from the outside sound. Fortunately we were there during the weekday so it was relatively quiet aside from the occasional rustling. In a hotel you might have a cot brought in, but this isn't a real hotel so obviously I wasn't expecting that. We brought our own which worked fine, but the most telling reminder that this is not a hotel is when I went down to the staff on the bottom floor and asked for an extra blanket. The employee who worked there, not in any sort of uniform age of about a University student who is probably paid much less than if he worked in an actual hotel greeted me. When I asked for an extra blanket he said, questionably: What like you don't have enough? This is the attitude of a complete kind stranger who wants to help you out in the store but knows his manager is mean and thus is not sure if he is actually allowed to help you. Again, genuinely seemed like a nice person, but AirBnB has become a reverse hospitality business. After I simply asked again he searched for some. There was another employee there a younger girl and although they could have been in their twenties, I couldn't help but wonder where are the older generation of adults that were raised on this business? Full disclosure I'm 30, I've paid for this experience so why do I feel like I'm staying the night at a distant friend's house that his loner roommate actually owns after a night of partying? I searched for this place on Expedia while I was staying there and the listing was #1 in the area with advertising. I saw some people post on here $75 a night which is fine. On the Expedia results page it was advertised as $145/ night. To be fair the weekend was coming up and again I had already paid but to be fair to others what is this Uber? There ought to be a law against running an AirBnB hotel. I am not a diva, I don't travel often but every once in a while you come across something that reminds you of the little things that make a difference. I doubt The landlord who owns this Apartment building cares one iota about the people who stay in it, but considering the bathroom and room where relatively clean that would be enough... if this didn't list itself as a hotel. That's the problem with this generation. We trade off and trade down; are expected to do more and more for ourselves, and in the process of caring for our primary relationships which becomes exclusively us we lose contact with the outside world and how things should be. No wonder people are driving themselves insane. Nobody in our room slept comfortably. We didn't bother each other the bed was just uncomfy with a divet, this is coming from my friend. It gets the job done, not a hotel.

Hotel is in a good location to access the sights however we did not get a wink of sleep as it is opposite a night club. Between the music, shouting and cars constantly revving it was a bit of a nightmare. The building is also in need of a lot of TLC but rooms are fine. However, our room had a LOT of fruit flies and we were storing no food in the room.

I arrived at 7 pm! The young, bearded employee is very polite, I was well received by him. At 10 pm I went out to eat, when I came back it was a shift change, I found a night shift employee, he was approximately 50 to 60 years old! He treated me so badly, for forgetting my room password, I explained the email said I would be room 505 but they rented it to someone else, So! I stayed in room 605, he told me that I would be lying, because that doesn't happen… I was talking to him and he turned his back on me and went to smoke, I said again how do I get into the room? he replied “if you don't have the password you will sleep at the reception and I doubt if you rented a room here because you don't seem to have the money for that….” Thank God the bearded and friendly employee came down before going home, gave me the room password and I was able to enter again, very hot, without an air conditioner, the fan was not enough to have a good night's sleep. My $135 went down the drain, public toilet, had no toothpaste or any oral hygiene materials. I believe the man on the night shift mistreated me for being black, saying he didn't have the money to put me up there. I've never been so insulted in my life. I simply do not advise anyone to stay at this hotel.

My stay at Le Sand u0026 Stone was fine - would I stay again? Probably not, but it was completely fine and safe for the three nights I was there, which was important to me traveling as a solo female. The location is by far the best part - you're super close to the St. Laurent metro stop, and within walking distance to a TON. I'd just be aware that this is not a traditional hotel - there's no traditional check-in, you just get a code in your email to get in the door and into your room. There was a guy sitting down at the table downstairs sometimes, but wasn't a traditional setup. There's no cleaning service, so if it's important to you to have fresh towels and a made bed, this isn't the place for you. The room was also a bit dirty, there were pieces of foam in my shower for some reason. There's no mini-fridge to store beverages or leftovers. There's also no screens on the windows, I woke up to a pigeon in my room one morning, which was more funny than anything, but screens would be nice. The one weird thing was that on my last night, the fire alarm went off around 2 am - one of the hotel guests called the fire trucks. Not sure where someone from the hotel was - again, it's not a traditional hotel. Overall, it was safe, bed was comfy, and I was fine staying there. On my next visit though, I'd either stay in a typical hotel or an actual airbnb, the in-between was a bit odd.

This place is great for those looking for something compact and affordable. You do share a bathroom, but it was generally clean and accessible, and the rooms have a decent bed, workstation, and dedicated sink. Stayed here for three nights and felt very at home. As far as I could tell, they don't do room cleanings during your stay, which honestly is what I prefer, as it makes the room feel more your own.
