Shoppers Drug Mart

This used to be my favourite Shoppers but I have noticed a decreasing level of quality and care in the place lately. Today was bad!!! The entrance - the baskets were all jammed together. I tried pulling them apart. Didn't want to break something. The cosmetics counter girl was helpful and she pulled one apart for me, put it on the ground and said now you can sanitize it ok. So I looked at the sanitization stand. Wow.(see pic below) I sprayed it and went shopping. All was ok till I got to the dairy section and found some cheese that was all moldy. Then went to the self check out. Scanned my cheese, different format, and it too was moldy. I suggest a check of the refrigeration system in the whole building because this product was due to expire in Jan 2021 so should not have any growth. Sadly, this store is heading downhill right when we need to be more care filled and vigilant. I am now going to avoid it.

Their pharmacy system is not that good. I was supposed to get a text when my prescription was ready for pickup. Went back in after 45 minutes, my prescription was ready for pick up but I still haven't got any text. They should use phone and not relay on this faulty systems.

Very poor experience. Bench at lobby removed so seniors and handicapped have no place to sit. Staff expected that the owner removed it. Products at higher prices than advertised in current flyer. No 2L tetra packs of Naturel or similar brand milk. No 2L club soda. Stay away from this particularly miserably managed location. Sad hugs 🥺 ISH John ISH Ishmael

The sales girls at the beauty section are so rude and suspicious of the customers. I’m a brown woman, and I always feel like these girls at shoppers look at you as if you’re stealing something!! She even talked rudely to me, and it felt so awkward!! Especially when I’m a loyal pc optimum member! I hope they get training to treat customers at least with a smile instead of being so suspicious of them!!

My dad had to get his medication late at night. Arlene is an incredibly helpful and knowledgeable pharmacist and provided him with great advice. She is very emphatic and caring. Thank you for all your help

This location off of Vodden is probably the best. New, big and clean. Lots of item options but the most impressive department is the pharmacy. The pharmacist working there is amazing. He gave me my booster shot and was very professional and friendly and caring. He also helped me another time over the phone with a prescription when my home pharmacy was too busy to assist me. Exceptional service, i think his name is Eric but i would recommend this pharmacy and this location for all needs.
