I just stopped in for some very fast u0026 friendly sale of an 78 oversized galvanized egress window well and I stumbled on all this very sexy solid slab wood suitable for large tables etc.

Superior Lumber is a great store. Lots and lots of variety of live edge wood and lumber. Prices are reasonable and the staff are very polite and helpful. Unfortunately they're only open weekdays during regular work hours. But definitely a great place to go visit. They also sell wood finishes and epoxy. As well as some fasteners and other tools. But not a place to find power tools if that's what you're looking for.

From the moment we walked in, I was in heaven and treated very well to say the least, we were greeted and helped immediately!! I want to give a huge shout out to Matthew for helping me and taking time to walk the store with us. Thank you Matthew for making this such a great experience!!!! The help and knowledge you passed to me will be forever cherished, you are definitely the reason I will be buying all of my live wood and resin products from Superior Lumber Ltd! Also, the prices here are very reasonable and we’ll worth every penny spent. It was such a breath of fresh air to shop in a store that has knowledgeable and friendly staff! Those big box stores are horrendous compared to this place, prices here are way better and such a higher quality of wood and products make me want to refer this store to everyone that woodworks.

I cant think of a better retail store that I've visited in my life. Family owned u0026 operated, the staff are friendly, helpful, and actually really care about the customers. They take the time to help you find what you need, provide you advice if necessary and have ALWAYS insisted on helping me load or at least walk me to the doors and out to the lot to say a friendly goodbye. They knew my 4 year old daughter by her name and even her dang stuffed bunny's name (Bun Bun) and greeted them both when we walked in for the second time ever. She's started to love this store so much when we go on daddy daughter dates and I ask her where she wants to go it's not a toy store or mcdonalds, 10/10 times she'll say the wood store with lorry(sorry Larry hahaha), Mathew and tonya. They're patient with her and let her run around, touch things and build wood castles with spindle blanks while I look at slabs or offcuts or whatever I need that day. Oh, and it goes without saying the wood products are spectacular in quality and more than fair in pricing. Man I love superior lumber.

Special thank you to Tanya! She went above and beyond. After calling several lumber stores in Edmonton for quotes she was the only one who was exceptional and willing to take the time to help. Its hard to get speciality lumber into the Arctic and she made it happen just before snow! Thank you again! Paul

What an awesome place! I had no idea how to buy specialty woods and the salesperson, Matt, spent more than an hour explaining the intricacies of countless live edge slabs to us. We weren’t rushed at all and there was no pressure to buy, but their selection and knowledge of the staff was incredible. Matt even sent us home with a free cut-off to test stains on before purchasing. I was shocked at how affordable their pricing was for such beautiful products. Would highly recommend this place.
