Sheraton Cavalier Calgary Hotel

Had dinner there ... 10oz strip loin steak ... Medium rare. Never thought to take pictures. Really great. Went in after work ... only fault, I believe, was due to work clothes, was treated in a cool manner? Initially could have been treated with a little more hospitality. Once order was placed, that warmed up. No arguments, food was Awesome. Wasn't travelling, a local looking for a great meal to cap off my day. Asked about WIFI, was told at desk ... No, it's for guests ... 😳🤯 as a reminder ... Service industry means Hospitality.

just stayed here. the room was great. ac was loud but i'd rather have loud ac than no ac. the pool was wildly overpacked to double capacity and nobody seamed too upset about it. might have been a bit of bad luck but our stay was punctuated with too many loud guests in the hallways. kept us from getting a proper sleep. if they enforced quiet time and pool safety it would've made a big difference

The rooms were very clean and the soaps and body products smell very good.I like the western theme when you walk into the lobby.I had water park access that had two water slides it is a fun place for people of all ages. My only complaint is that the front desk staff are all business.Everytime me and my boyfriend came in the lobby to our room the staff would just look at us and not say hi or anything.I found that rude every other hotel does say hi or something when you enter the hotel and walk by the front desk.The housekeeping here is awesome they respect your privacy if you have a privacy sign on your door.If you need anything there is always a housekeeping cart and housekeeper always close by.When I need something like toilet paper or more towels they gave them to me.

Stayed here a few days on a business trip. The hotel is conveniently located in NW Calgary and has easy access to all the major trails/roads you need to easily get around Calgary. The hotel has a few amenities around including Gas stations, fast food places (Wendy's and McDonald's) and decent steak house across the road. The rooms are spacious clean, well decorated and have decent showers. There was a pretty good pool and fitness centre.

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a poor experience immediately after checking in. After checking in, I immediately went up into my room and began changing for dinner- 2 Employees walked into my room without knocking and announcing and stood with the door open as I was exposed. All they had was one singular towel to hand me, which was not requested or should have been needed especially after my room should have been ready because they let me check in. I quickly went down to the front desk- they apologized and I requested a refund so we could stay somewhere else as I felt violated and uncomfortable continuing my stay. The manager on duty refused and was unable to provide more then free breakfast and a discounted room rate. I then contacted multiple managers and talked to 3 different employees. I had emailed and reached out to higher management to discuss my concerns and have not heard back in a few days. extremely disappointed as my vacation was ruined as I was uneasy my entire stay and upset about the experiences that I had encountered. Poor service and will not continue with this hotel chain anymore. The managers attitude felt above and belittling and I was more of a problem to them for what had happened.

The entire staff we dealt with for our 3 day visit were polite, friendly and caring. The hotel was clean, rooms where comfortable and well appointed. Would highly recommend a stay here.

I have mixed feelings. The staff and service was great. The hotel and rooms…not so much! Very old building. Rooms are brown and dull. The old mattresses gave us severe backaches and we had to walk around with icy hot patches the rest of the week. The scented shampoos and other products gave me severe allergies…very strong masculine scent. Thanks to the staff for making this place bearable.
