My boyfriend and I booked a Standard King room for our last night in Calgary following a 9-day Canadian Rockies trip, and this hotel was great for a last minute reservation. Super affordable. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet, and it came with a balcony, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The King bed was super comfy, shower pressure was strong and great, and parking on-site was free. We had no issues. The neighborhood wasn’t the most exciting, however, and it’s best to have a car with you. Service at the front desk was quick snd efficient. Breakfast daily is free, but we opted to dine elsewhere. Once again, this place is good for a short stay!

09-01-2023 17:15This review is a long one, for multiple reasons. 1) I booked this hotel online with a specific MasterCard. They took a deposit of 100$ out of this Mastercard with no issues. I arrived at the hotel and the informed me they would not take this type of MasterCard (even tho they had already taken money from it). I explained how could you not accept it if you have already taken money from it? They didn’t have an explanation. My only other option was to use Debit Card, in which they said I’d need to pay a 500 refundable fee. I will add they did not tell me in advance that my original card would not be accepted. So, with no other option, I paid 750$ to this hotel to stay one night. 2) This hotel is gross, run down, and out dated. My sheets were stained horribly, and I found a Mattress Bug in my bed 🤢. The room was dirty, old, and just not what the pictures showed. It had an awful stench that did not go away. The elevator is about 5 seconds away from breaking down. I had to wait 15 minutes for the one elevator to come and pick me up from the 6th floor. Why not take the stairs you ask? You can’t get down to the lobby and need to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for this elevator. 3) Location. The location of this hotel is horrendous. I walked out to my car in the parking lot late at night and witnessed 3-4 people doing drugs directly beside my car. There are signs everywhere stating how you need to take valuables out of cars and keep them locked up (fair enough), but I was scared every time I needed to walk to my car. All in all, do not waste your money here. It is a poorly run establishment with no sense of hospitality what so ever.
