Caldense Bakery

One of the only pleasures of going to my doctor's office in this plaza is the absolute pleasure of visiting CALDENSE after !!!!! Staff is friendly and fast serving up fresh and crunchy buns of all shapes and sizes.....baked goods which are delightful to try to choose just one or two....and they taste even better than they look. A wonderful source of the flaky and filling Portuguese custard tarts. Deep, dark flavourful coffees to wash all these delicacies down. Today I had the pleasure of getting a breakfast panini called TOSTA MISA...a crunchy bun filled with cheese and ham and flattened to crispy deliciousness in a panini press. ANOTHER VISIT OCTOBER 2nd.....another TOSTA MISA and just as good!!!!!! And the APPLE SQUARE was a delectable finish!!!

Got 4 pieces of bacon in my breakfast! Great coffee. Staff was super nice.

My very first visit to Portuguese bakery and I love it.. the specialty custard tart were to die for. I also had macaroons of different flavours and it tasted delicious 😋

Brings me back to Portugal, the little Bistros in downtown Lisbon. Service is prompt, prices are reasonable, will definitely be back.

This place is a neighbourhood staple that I've been coming to for years. Get yourself a dozen pastel de Nata's and cod cakes to go or grab one with a coffee and enjoy it inside. Their custom cakes for any occasion are also always fresh and tasty.

This is definitely a hidden gem. I came here as a co-worker recommended it, they have a wide selection of baked foods which are all tasty! It is a bit pricey but I would definitely say it's worth it.

Well first time here and not as per expectations! Blame it on our choices but we did not have the experience that I was expecting based on the reviews. May be the breads are good here not sure though but below is what we got Tiramisu - disappointed Chocolate mousse - average Cappuccino - below average Canadian coffee - below average Overall not a good experience. Extremely slow customer service!

Amazing coffee and lots of variety of breads. I bought the plain palmier 😍 They also sell this biodegradable cup that I bought today! Super useful and ecofriendly 🫶🏻 Highly recommend
