Ferris' Grill & Garden Patio

We had the beef short rib which was a special dish of the day, and also had some oysters. It was definitely one of the best meals I have had in a while. Highly recommended!

Open late. I had a fun dinner of oysters, fried smelt, cauliflower salad with a 33 Acres Sunshine and it was the best meal I've had in months. I'm coming back tomorrow for halloumi and polenta

We decided to do a wine tasting and oyster experience. 2 Dozen oysters and tasting 3 wines. It was fantastic! Oysters were Fanny Bay, and amazing (Go easy on the Horseradish). I know red wines were a stretch, but that is why we did it! The mission Hill Happy Hour special, seemed to hold up the best. Happy Hour was just that! One of our best outings!

I was with a large family group. We tried many different meals. I had Bouillabaisse, and my wife had fish and chips. The Boulllabaiss was ok but not special. I have had much better at other seafood restaurants. My wife had fish and chips and the fish was greasy, and way overcooked, the raw oysters were very nice but very small and overpriced.

If I ever see another Ferris in my travels, I'm going there again. Period. No question. My experience was that great. It comes at a cost but the expense is well worth it if you're looking for a new place to try and have a good budget. Fancy date for a seafood lover? I GOT YOUR CHOICE RIGHT HERE. THIS IS THE PLACE. The food - I love seafood so much. Their oyster flight trio was such an adventure for my taste buds. All the dishes we had looked great, they tasted fantastic, even microwaved the following morning was a revisit to the night before in my mind. The service - amazing, efficient, well spaced visits, well dressed and well mannered. It was almost like they had perfected their craft in addition to seeming properly staffed. The atmosphere - low light, music selection is very solid, knew more than a few of the songs and the volume was perfect, it was a narrow path with a cramped feeling but I feel that adds to the charm of the establishment. My dishes tasted - Single Oyster raw, Trio Oyster sampler, Seafood Chowder, Seafood Laska, Dry Apple Cider.

Service was top notch — seafood dishes and soups incredible. Fresh. Savoury. Unique. Atmosphere is so magical on the patio with all the greenery u0026 flowers. Try the mussels u0026 bread. Rice dumplings and mock tails. Blueberry nohito! Fast. Consistent. Interesting dishes. Cucumber smash! All palates happy!

Pleasant service, pub-ish inner-city house. Ordered the ling cod, it came with pasta, not something I normally order, however was So good I would be happy for a repeat performance. The food was so fulfilling as to wish the flatware was ... better, along with a cloth napkin, yes, that good.

Amazingly delicious! We had the most romantic dinner and every bite of it was fantastic. Dim lights, great service and beautiful decoration. We had the most perfect hummus, and the short ribs… I’ll never forget! Thank you for a lovely evening.
