My cousin from California wanted to shop local brands on his last day in Montreal. I suggested we drive all the way to Le Cartel Clothing before heading to the airport which was a huge detour. We get in and notice a photoshoot at the back of the store behind a curtain. As we wanted to purchase a hat and leave, they kick us out even though we tried to explain the situation, they thought we were making up a story. Won’t support this place ever again.

I’ve been visiting this branch of Le Cartel for a while now, but i wanted to write down what i truly thought of this place: it’s hands-down one of the best clothing stores in mtl. Their selection of clothing showcases the work of local and international artists that show how much passion they put into their products. The staff is friendly and passionate about the brand, especially Jessie who talked to me about the artist whose clothing i was buying, and hyped me up on the release of their new summer collection that’ll release soon. I recommend coming to Le Cartel, not only to support local businesses and artists, but also to up your fashion game.
