Pettle Alvin Dr

I was excited to experience the ground breaking warm water birthing method back in 1983 offered by Dr. Pettle, so much so that I paid out of pocket to see him. When the time came for my daughter to be born, Dr. Pettle wanted to schedule me for inducement so that it fit into his schedule. I objected, wanting nature to decide when my baby should come. When I went into labour, the team at the hospital tried to contact Dr. Pettle. It was a weekday morning, not middle of the night or weekend. My husband looked at the chart for my care hanging on the door, and the quoted response from Dr. Pettle was don't contact me again regarding this patient. Nearly 40 years later, and I haven't forgotten that. Be forewarned. At least after threatening legal action, his practice refunded the money we paid for his services that we never received.

I can not be more blessed to part of this clinic and share my years of experience with this clinic and the skills of Dr.Pettle ! His office staff are friendly, caring and do the best they can for the large amount of clients they have! I have never been left unattended or wondering if Dr. Pettle was brushing me off. My life has changed so much since becoming a patient of Dr P and he has given me the proper diagnosis to fix the. anaemia with low hemoglobin, low iron , massive uterine blood clots, irregular cycles, break through bleeding and diagnosis of my Hashimoto’s ! After being passed back and forth between 8 other gynaecologist previously over the years …. telling me to lose weight, take more drugs, use IUDs with hormones, go back on BC, have a hysterectomy or take more vitamins etc. Dr P listened, did tests and have me my life back!! Thank you again!! I enjoy your thoughts of the day and am thankful for your caring !! Wish there were more family run clinics like yours ❤️❤️

I have been a patient of Dr. Pettle for many years. He and his wife Carol have helped me tremendously, They are both so kind and knowledgeable. Dr Pettle is always up to date with current medicine and dealing with hormones and hormonal changes. Him and his team go above and beyond for his patients. I am so blessed that I have them helping me with all of my heath needs. ❤️

I have never ever found Dr Pettle's office staff to be anything less than polite and helpful. They are bombarded by calls and questions, and are doing their best. In my experience Dr Pettle is always on your side and truly cares about your physical and mental well being. Yes, he often speaks quickly and seems to throw a ton of information at you, but the information has always been spot on, in my case. Whereas my family physician has not been and I am out of her office in two seconds flat....thank you OHIP.

Dr Pettle is an amazing doctor. It's true that there is a wait time but that's with any good specialist. He is truly a miracle worker. I have successfully reduced extreme pain with his protocol. Oral progesterone and topical. I have stage 4 endometriosis that has spread to my bowel and lungs. I was desperate when I met with him last year. He did tell me that despite this treatment I might still need s surgery based on severity . I'm so glad I found him. It's been a year and I have canceled my surgery for hysterectomy and bowel resection. Thanks Dr Pettle for everything you have done for me

Dr. Pettle is a genius. He has been my doctor for 44 years. I haven't seen him in 10 because he has me so healthy now. He saved my life April 1st. 1981. He is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. Treats all patients like family members with compassion and empathy. I wish I had a reason to sit and wait for his care again.

Dr Pettle has been my specialist for over 10 years. He is an excellent physician. On my last visit I waited about 30 minutes . I have waited longer and I expect to wait. There have been visits where I have needed more time because of health issues and Dr Pettle patiently went over my complicated health problems . He was great to me before , during and through menopause and colorectal cancer.If I’m waiting I know my sister patient needs care . Dr Pettle is an expert who remains compassionate. His front line staff are amazing ! His wife and Carol have often taken my calls and helped me with blood test requestioms , copies, prescriptions etc. I love that Dr Pettle’s family work together . They are a hard working, pleasant team providing health care to women in a caring environment.

This is a long overdue review. Dr. Pettle is a very knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate doctor. He gives his best attention and advice to all his patients. His wife and office staff are very dedicated and efficient. Dr. Pettle continues to outperform in his expertise, empathy and brilliance! He is a very kind and understanding doctor who goes out of his way to do his best for his patients! Just can't stop singing his praises. His family especially his wife Carol is exceptionally a very nice person and so are the others in the office. Always dedicated and professional. (Updated Oct 2022).
