Pré-maternelle Pomme d’Api Vancouver Preschool

My daughter has been attending Pomme d'Api for 1.5 years now and she absolutely adores it. She started when she was 2.5 and is now 4, and with no French at home, I'm stunned with how much she knows. A lot of the French learning is supported by songs, stories, and circle time, which she recites to me everyday at home. She says it's OK that I don't speak French, she will teach me! The teachers and community are incredible - so safe, warm, and welcoming. I love volunteering for the school and helping out when and where I can. It's been hugely rewarding being apart of my daughter's early learning experience and creating connections with other families. I already have my 1.5 year old on a waitlist for next year. I HIGHLY recommend Pomme d'Api to anyone who wants effective early exposure to French for their little one, values gentle teachers, and is a team player who can volunteer a few hours a month to support the school's operations. Amazing place to start a child's learning journey.

My daughter loves going to Pomme d'Api. Within a couple of weeks of starting there, she was asking to go every day of the week! The teachers are caring and extremely dedicated and they do a great job gradually exposing the kids to French over the course of the year. The school is very diverse and is a great option for families looking for a half-day preschool experience in East Van.

Fantastic program! My granddaughter loves it. I'm impressed with how well she speaks and sings in French. The teacher is amazing, a wonderful person. I highly recommend this school.

My daughter has been attending Pomme D'Api for 2.5 years. She loves attending the school. The inside of the school is very nice and they have a lovely playground that is well enclosed. The teachers are fabulous and she has become interested in picking up a new language. Given her young age she has picked up french well and can now sing songs in French. I would highly recommend this school to any parent.

My daughter loves going to Pomme D'api. She comes home excited about her day, and full of stories about her friends. She loves the crafts they do and the songs they sing. As a bilingual family, we were looking for an opportunity to expose our child to French before francophone kindergarten. Pomme D'api has been a perfect transition. The school accommodates both English and French speaking families and all communications are in both languages, so no parent feels left out of the loop. We will certainly be sending our second child here when the time comes.

Pomme d'Api is fantastic! The teachers are very supportive, kind and knowledgeable. Both my children have attended and loved it. It's a great place to offer early exposure to your children, especially if you plan to enroll them in French Immersion or the Francophone programs once they enter Kindergarten. I honestly can't say enough good things about Pomme D'api for our daughter. The teachers - Madame Eugenia and Madame Amisha are the most patient teachers I have ever met. They truly understand the delicacies of this age group and don't force any methods that stresses out the parents and the children. Everything is taught with love and patience, and it is extremely effective for the children. We don't live in East van and still travel from the west side so that our daughter can attend their classes. The outside space is also secured and gated in an open area; I feel safe for my daughter to play around in the yard with lots of toys and equipment. The parent and teacher community is awesome, really close knit and parents volunteer to contribute to a better school. This is a great school to expose your kids to French at a young age; great teachers, great vibes, great atmosphere.

This French immersion/francophone preschool offers excellent French language learning opportunities for 3-5 years old children. I was worried at first to send my daughter to French immersion preschool as we both don't have any knowledge in French language. She however readily adopted to a safe, supportive learning environment that Pomme d'Api provides and would ask me when she would be going to French school next. The teachers at Pomme d'Api are wonderful and professional educators. I highly recommend this French immersion preschool to any family who plans to send their children to French immersion kindergarten.
