Hearth Restaurant

Hearth is Saskatoons best food. Period. Not only is Hearth such a unique spot, but it has so much character. The food and drink: amazing-- the dishes are well thought out, using great local ingredients. Great place for a date or special occasion. If you can't decide what to get for an appitizer, get the mushrooms!!! (see photo 🤤) Service is always great-- I highly recommend!!! In the photos picture is the 5 course tasting menu. It's $65/person (+35 for wine pairing) and it well worth the price! We've had Hearth's catering for a wedding-- just as fantastic!

WOW! Me and my husband choose Hearth to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We didn’t know what to order but ended trying the tasting menu and… what a surprise! I read some good things here, but it was so much better than the reviews. Everything was spot on, the service was perfect, the staff so friendly and welcoming, and the food was just amazing. We had such a great time and we couldn’t be happier. Thanks to everyone that were somehow part of this, we will never forget this experience.

My dining experience was good overall. 3.8/5 Great drink menu, very diverse and applicable to every taste bud. For our food, We tried the Arancini and the Beet Tartare to start and for not liking risotto or beets, these were top notch. I think the serving size was okay, but could have used maybe more sauce in the arancini. For our main, we had the Spicy Perogie Pasta and the Chicken Kiev. The spicy perogie pasta was not spicy at all. No hint of spice. The idea of the dish is fantastic but it wasn’t a lot of taste. The chicken kiev was average. The bitter greens were definitely bitter, the chicken itself was cooked perfectly, tender but didn’t get much flavour. The sprinkled salt and the breading carried the flavour of the chicken. The potato puree was outstanding, creamy, and light. It had a buttery taste with a hint of saltiness. We had the bavarois for dessert, It was light, fluffy, and obviously tasty. I could have used more crunch but that’s a personal preference. But definitely this was the best part of my evening. The atmosphere of the restaurant was good, quite loud to be honest but if you enjoy a loud atmosphere then cheers to you! The servers were fantastic! They answered any question quick and were very efficient. I would recommend visiting this place if you wanna try something new and have dinner by the river. Keep in mind that there is no allocated parking, only street parking. Is it worth the hype? Maybe to you! This is a personal opinion, not the law. Always try something before you say you don’t like it !

This place didn’t disappoint. Every dish was great (except the pork special which was dry). Our server was excellent. The room is a bit weird and doesn’t seem fine dining. But I’d definitely recommend!

Right from the walk through the door, to putting on our coats to leave, the door experience was excellent. The hostess showed us to our table immediately after confirming our reservation, even offered to take our coats, which I used in this instance, as it was a chilly night and I don't care for being smothered by my coat while dining. Our server was extremely polite u0026 pleasant. They gave us a detailed rundown of the special that night and offered to make drink recommendations if needed. I had a cocktail to start and we ordered immediately upon their return. The Beef u0026 Pork plates were absolutely to die for. Cooked to perfection and delicious. We opted for Desserts afterwards as well as a after dinner coffee. The desserts were quick u0026 the coffee hit the spot. This was a dinner for a birthday celebration, and our server was aware as when the reservation was made the question is asked. We received a lovely postcard from the local Remai Modern with our Bill as well as a special treat in Honor of the Birthday. The decor is elegant u0026 vintage with a soft mood light. I can't wait to go back.

Fairly priced for the quality of the food. The mushroom dish was delicious. There was just a bit too much sour cream on the pasta dish, but that’s just personal preference - still delicious nonetheless. The SK liqueur felt a bit too strong to be paired with the dessert, but that’s just personal preference again. Overall, it was a fun experience and would recommend.

We arrived without a reservation and were still accommodated for brunch. The serving staff were friendly and polite. Both meals were very good; creamy borscht, tasty croque madame and fries, a roast beef sandwich with the perfect combo of flavors and consistencies and the rose lemonade was mild and refreshing. I would love to return soon and try their dinner menu. This time I'll be sure to make a reservation at this delicious and very popular restaurant.

It was our first time visiting Hearth. The food and drinks were very good but what made our experience the most enjoyable was our service. Our server, Sydney helped us decide which drinks to have and walked us through all of the menu items we were considering. Based on the recommendations we had fantastic food and beverages. The food and drinks are great but Sydney made sure we would be back!
