Brown Donkatsu & Ramen

First time here after waiting so long to try them out and it really did not disappoint The pork katsu was super crispy and the brown sauce is THE sauce they are known for and just complements the katsu so perfectly The cheese chicken katsu was also awesome. So nice and cheesy and if you want that cheese pull, this is the dish to get! Pull after pull with every piece you chicken Place is small so if you go during busy times, there may be a small wait, but the staff are quick in trying to turn over tables to constantly make space And the staff are super nice too. Exceptional donkatsu. Before this, I wasn't a true believer. The takoyaki is some of the best I've had, with the cheese pork don being exceptional as well. The ramen however, was not on par with these other appetizers and so I would recommend the donkatsu and takoyaki ahead of it. Nice and simple atmosphere with very friendly service. I recommend in order to restore your faith in a good donkatsu.

Second time coming here because of how great the experience was the first time. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. And the food is great! First picture is the Cheese Stick Tonkatsu. They accidentally dropped one of the pieces, but informed us that we were going to get the last piece (ended up giving us 2 extra!). Crispy, cheesy, filling, the sauce it comes with is the cherry on top too. Second picture is the Chulpan Teri Katsu (my new favourite). Tastes like you’re eating a cheese pizza but instead of the crust, it’s a whole katsu. Cheese pull was insane! One of the best Katsu places I’ve been to, 100% would come back again. Very very filling, expect to take some leftovers home 😅. Busy on weekends, but was seated immediately during lunch on a Wednesday

Really good Katsu Korean restaurant with large selection of food choices, at affordable prices. Although the meat is fried, it is still juicy and soft. The restaurant is a bit small, so expect to wait for a table. They offer 5% cash discount. They offer cold water and hot tea for drinks. I will return.

Delicious!! Their katsu is so crispy and crunchy! Plus their sauce on the katsu is a perfect match! My husband tried their ramen and he said is his 2nd best place! The restaurant isn’t big so be prepared to wait for tables. As a visitor, this is definitely a revisit place!

One of my go-to spots to eat donkatsu and ramen in Markham! the pork is always fried to perfection and is always crispy and juicy. The spicy ramen broth has the perfect level of heat and has delicious toppings. My favourite menu items however are definitely the cheese sticks and cheese corn — great to share with a group of friends! The servers are kind and attentive and this is a great casual place for whenever i am craving Japanese-Korean food.

This place is always packed with a waitlist. After visiting, we would say it was worth the wait. The katsu was tender, the breading was very unique as it was on the flaky side, and the portions were huge. There are two huge pieces of katsu with the sauce, salad and rice which make for a very filling meal. There are many sauces to choose from, like carbonara, curry, Italian, snow cheese, and some katsu also comes with cheese inside. The rice portion is on the smaller side which is fine because of the huge katsu. There is also a huge selection of ramen which are well priced as well as rice bowls. The gyoza which we tried were great and they had a very thin wrapper.

Waited close to 1 hour to get into this resto famed for its brown sauce donkatsu and it was definitely worth the wait! Super busy on a Saturday night! Service was understandably slow but they did their best to seat and serve us. Ordered the Grilled Chashu, signature Brown Katsu, Brown Teishoku, Hot u0026 Spicy Cheese Tonkatsu, and Curry Tonkatsu (chicken). Everything was great, especially love that signature Brown sauce! Tried their LVL 2 spiciness and it wasn't enough, gonna go for LVL 3 next time lol. The portions were exceedingly generous too, almost couldn't finish the whole thing! They got one of my friend's Katsu wrong (he wanted pork, not fish Katsu) and they promptly served up another piece of pork Katsu for him and he kept the fish too! They were also very apologetic about the matter. Awesome service, great food. Highly recommend and definitely looking to return! Should call ahead for a reservation if possible though!
