07-24-2023 00:13I order often from Tim’s for breakfast as it is delicious and convenient. Nonetheless, I have had many issues with different Tim’s that substitute items without customer approval when doing online orders through ubereats. While I have reported these instances to uber every time it happens as restaurants should just substitute items with whatever they choose, today I opened my order to see that a chocolate croissant has been substituted with a muffin with a multitude of nuts in them. I find this to be a truly insane thing to do. My family and I have a deathly nut allergy. My sister, who thankfully wasn’t home at the time, has a severe allergic reaction to nuts just from being around them. I am still in shock from this whole ordeal. I hope they learn from this. I will be reporting to HQ. Serious allergies are serious concerns and this establishment clearly doesn’t take it as seriously as they should.
