First time ordering, very, very impressed. I'm loyal to Manchu Wok while shopping in the mall, but for takeout, this is my new place. So much for so little price, delivery was very fast and very nice! Food is more than what you expect for a takeout place. Delicious and got enough leftovers for another meal. 7/7.

This place was the epitome of proper western-style Chinese food way back in the 90's. It was run by an old Asian man, must have been about 80 - yet, very light hearted in demeanor and pleasant in character. He would joke they don't accept coupons, while presenting him with them, again - in a very fun and a pleasant tone and a smirk with a subtle laugh. I miss that man. I was too young to care at the time, but he made an impression. I sorely wish he was still around as his food was always fresh, made in his kitchen (not frozen off the truck), and absolutely tasty. Today, China Garden is run by someone else, and along with the change in ownership, the food has also measly changed into offerings of destitute and lonely flavors. Nostalgia doesn't always reward. Lesson in all this, if you have a favorite restaurant today, do enjoy it, as it may not be around tomorrow, and all we can be left is an imitation of what once was.

Walking inside, it looked very questionable but gave it a chance. Found this giant bug inside a chicken ball (see photo). When I called to complain they tried to justify the bug being there based on whether it was inside the chicken ball or outside on the breading - as if that should make a difference. Refunded for the cost of the chicken balls ($12) however we purchased about $60 worth of food and all of it was thrown out immediately after finding the bug. Will never go back again.

Hidden Gem! Excellent food, big portions, always get our order correct, quality packaged food and good pricing. We are a family of 6 and get 2 dinners out of it with leftovers. Friendly family ran business. Thanks again for the Excellent service.

The woman that answered the phone was so sweet and the FOOOOOOOOD. OMG 🤯 SOOOOO GOOD. I ORDERED A CANTONESE CHOW MEIN AND 2 EGG ROLLS - $ AMAZING PRICES u0026 HEALTHY !!!! #McDonaldsWHO??? EAT HERE AND BE FULL !! The portion size is amazing too. UPDATE: WE ate portions three times what that photo shows. And have at least two HUGE plates for leftovers 💯💯 KEEP up the good work guys. Have always liked this place as a cheaper option close to home. The egg rolls, spring rolls, and chicken balls were decently prepared and hot. Not much flavour but wasn't complaining at all as you get what you pay for. Until i started eating the beef and broccoli. I thought something smelled fishy or like shrimp. I spit out a piece of beef because i literally thought I had a piece of shrimp in my mouth. I'm hoping it just tastes/smells that way because they cross contaminated from another dish and not because it's bad. Will wait to see if we get sick. Saw another review mentioning the burnt chicken fried rice. Figured that'd be a one off thing. The chicken fried rice was indeed burnt smelling and tasted just as bad if not worse. Inedible. I don't think I've ever been compelled enough to leave a bad food review. But I think knowing my three year old ate the beef and broccoli and horrible rice and worrying about him being sick angered me enough to write a review. I don't know if management changed but this was pretty awful. Just feeling sick and yucky now after just wanting to take it easy and not cook for the night. Obviously some issues are ongoing like the burnt chicken fried rice so something definitely needs to be done. Will be the last time I order from here.

Save you money and order from somewhere else.. This meal was $60 and HARD to get through. We ended up throwing away so much food. Wontons - No filling General Tao’s Chicken - No Sauce and hard Sweet u0026 Sour Chicken Balls - Mostly breading

Beef and broccoli. Also Sesame seed beef... I went down to pick up these 2 items. Great customer service and I was in-and-out with in 15 or less minutes! Got the food home and it tastes great!
