Rain & Sunny Chinese Noodles

Perfect noodles to warm you up. Becoming one of my favourite Chinese restaurant in London. Very authentic street food selection such as 肉夹馍 (Chinese burger) and 羊肉串 (lamb skewers). It was so good I forgot to take pictures 😅 The knife cut noodles were perfectly chewy, super qq. Broth soothes you from the cold weather. Ordered the lamp knife cut noodles and the braised beef one. The lamb one was cut thicker to accommodate the gamier taste. The beef one were cut thinner to mimic regular braised beef noodles. Both great choices depending on your preference. Good portions for the price. Also ordered a number of side dishes, the highlight was the chicken feet skin salad. The brine and dressing was super refreshing and addicting. Thought one menu item was shaobing but it was youbing wrap with beef.

The food was absolutely delicious and quite generous regarding the serving size (I got the beef brisket hand cut noodles) and came relatively fast, but service and atmosphere was pretty terrible. Server said maybe two sentences to us in total and the whole place was so quiet I had a strange urge to start singing at the top of my lungs just to fill the heavy and uncomfortable silence. The whole experience was like the temperature of the water served in styrofoam cups— extremely lukewarm (all in all, the food was the saving grace).

Wow! Found this gem because we really craved Chinese noodle. So glad we came here. Now we can get our noodle fix without driving to Kitchener or Toronto. Delicious traditional Chinese noodle. The noodles are hand pulled and hand sliced depending on which one you order, they are both super fresh. Their home made chilli oil is amazing too! Will definitely come back again!

Stopped here for lunch during a quick site visit in London. The portions are big, the price is reasonable! We got the lotus root salad, the spicy intestine casserole and the lamb with sesame sauce soup noodles. The noodles are super thick and the soups are flavourful. The lotus root salad was on the sweeter and sour side than spicy but still good nonetheless. I liked the intestines in the spicy soup! I wish there were more veggies in it than noodles

The sanitary conditions is a big concern here. There is hair in the food I ordered. Food quality is not as good as when it is in Toronto. Very sad and unpleasant experience. Service is pretty good though.

My partner and I ordered the chili oil noodles. The taste itself was good, however portions of the meal were cold and my partner found a piece of steel in his dish. A real health hazard that's unacceptable.

A hidden gem in London!! These braised beef noodles were a bowl of comfort. The noodles were soft and tender, with flavourful soup and just enough chunks of beef 😋. For $15 (including tax) super filling and delicious! First dish I had from here and will be going back to try more. The skewers and other noodles dishes looked yummy too. Service - the lady was very nice and courteous and we liked the call/pay button. (The location is a little sketchy but honestly isn't that where the best places are?)

Food delicious. Menu completely inaccessible. Rude staff even though asked for an extra bowl never got it. Had pop no straws no glasses. Got a hot cup of water when we sat while others got a cold pitcher. Food was great. Avoid if you are a senior or a person with a disability as they are obviously ageist ableist .
