Inn On The Lake

Good location...needed more time to explore the grounds. Rooms were clean, well presented. For single women, safety needs to be a factor when designating a room. For folks arriving late from airport on Mondays ,there were no snacks or food available to choose from until breakfast the next day. Maybe a wee welcome basket of some munchies for those late Monday arrivals? Food for thought.....

First of all we booked this nice spot over expedia just to find out that there was no refund, as we had to cancel one of two rooms. It is in the policy of the Hotel, not Expedia. Things happen in life and there would have been enough time for the Hotel to rebook the room for someone else. Although when we stayed there, we did not had the feeling all rooms were booked. Food and service the best. The big minus point was the clean part. Dust and dirt and crumps everywhere. From our room to pub and restaurant part. A shame not to invest some more money to get extra employees for cleaning (and I know it is hard to find someone now a days). Not staying there again.

First time staying at this Hotel, minutes away from the airport which was very convenient. First 2 nights were awesome no problems. We did miss breakfast by about 1/2 an hour, no bending the rules, so we had brunch instead, it was good. Our second night came back to our room and the smell was very strong of sewer back up. So I went down and spoke the and desk personnel, and asked for another room. She kindly accommodated us, as we were packing she did come to the room to smell for herself and Yes she stated there was a very bad smell of sewer. We finally got into our room (very nice room with patio doors leading to the pool area), settled in to watch some T.V. wind down for the night and the T.V. doesn't work...so again we called the desk she said we had to wait for to warm up or a green light to come on, something along that line but the T.V. never came on. so we went to bed. on paying for our bill the front desk never adjusted our room stay I had to look at the receipt and demand a refund..a whole 50.00 came off our invoice after all that. Would I recommend this Hotel I think NOT!!! I did see a lake for the tall trees in the way, but I did hear all the highway traffic.
