11-05-2023 02:47Eddie is the most trustworthy mechanic out there. He actually took the time to explain things to me instead of brushing me off or saying he’ll call my dad like every other mechanic I’ve been to. He’s very honest, reliable, provides quality service and doesn’t take a single dollar more than he needs to. Highly recommend.

11-01-2023 21:23Eddie is the best, super knowledgeable and the most honest Auto Mechanic you can find. I have been seeing him since 2012 and I drive from Oshawa to his shop in Markham because I know that Eddie will treat me with honesty and he will fix my car professionally. Thanks Eddie for being such a wonderful mechanic. Art

09-06-2023 12:14This has to be the best body shop that I have ever been to, Eddie was professional, honest and very knowledgeable. I recently got both of my cars completely checked up and repaired in the shop, the experience was very pleasant after a complete diagnostic of the cars Eddie performed the necessary work to get my car back in great shape! He saved me tons of money and I can not be more thankful. The technical aspect of the job was great, but what stands out most is how Eddie is servicing his clients with top integrity and honesty. I am recommending this body shop to anyone that asks for referral, this will be my only go to place going forward. Thanks again Eddie and team Motodrift.

07-08-2023 07:55Eddie is the MOST HONEST straight forward mechanic ever. I was blown away by his honesty, low prices, and quality work. He replaced my stabilizer links quickly with OEM parts way cheaper than any other mechanic. The last issue I had was a 'whistling' sound on the front of the engine. It was hard to diagnose as it could either be the belts, pulleys or the tensioner. He narrowed it down to my oil filter housing but confirmed there was no leaks (I had done preventative maintenance and replaced those gaskets + belts and pulleys myself 1 year ago). I was read to pay him a diagnostic fee but he refused and turned it down and said, I did not replace anything - so I will not charge you. C'mon, where are you going to find a mechanic like this guy?? Most shops will charge you double to diagnose a problem - often times, they just plug a scanner in the OBD-II port and read the codes and slap you with $100-200 BMW scanning fee LOL. P.S. that whistling sound was caused by a bad/sticking oil cooler thermostat. I replaced it with a BMS bypass oil cooler valve. $50 fix. Pic attached - the one on the left is the stock t-stat. The red one is the BMS valve. I usually stick w OEM but I wanted to give this one a try as a lot of BMW enthusiasts have reported good results w this mod. I am a car enthusiast and I like to work on my cars (Japanese and German) as I used to be a mechanic apprentice but for serious/technical work, I go to Eddie. As you know, BMWs require more maintenance and different tools than your average Accord or Camry. They use a lot of engineered (brittle) plastics in their water pump impeller, radiator, coolant expansion tank and ends of coolant hoses w the flimsy metal snap on clip. Even the valve cover with the PCV is plastic! They even have one time use aluminum bolts that require an angle torque wrench and diagnostics that require INPA software. In short, they're finicky but the best thing you can do for a BMW engine (N55 or B58 or S55) is DO YOUR OIL CHANGES more frequently with HIGH QUALITY oil with OEM (Mann) oil filters, if possible. If you want your car to last, always remember that: Oil is always cheaper than a new engine and these engines w the turbos run extra HOT (due to govt emissions requirement). I personally do my oil changes ahead of schedule because I do a lot of frequent short drives within the city with a lot of stop and go traffic. IMO, I think 10-12,000 kms oil changes for turbo cars are way too long. Always try to stay with OEM - Pagid or Textar for pads, Hengst for air filters, Mann for oil, Bosch and Valeo for other BMW parts. Anyways, I highly recommend this shop and Eddie is a one-of-a-kind mechanic. I have been referring all my Markham friends to go to his Motodrift shop.
