10-12-2023 02:23I wish I could give this a 0/5 rating… I am writing to bring to your attention a distressing incident that occurred at ASASA Academy NE involving my pre-school-aged child. I am deeply concerned about the blatant negligence displayed by both the bus driver and the teacher, as well as the appalling response from the school administration when I sought justice for my child. On March 8th, 2023, my child fell asleep during the bus ride home, only to wake up in an unfamiliar location—the Saddle Town Community—completely alone on the bus. It is unfathomable that neither the bus driver nor the teacher took the initiative to check if all the children had disembarked safely or even kept track of the number of children in their care. This gross neglect of responsibility placed my child in an extremely vulnerable and dangerous situation. The weather was -25! Fortunately, my child found the courage to exit the bus and cross the street, where they encountered a kind-hearted lady who promptly assisted in contacting the police. It is thanks to the quick thinking and bravery of my child that this incident did not result in a tragic outcome. However, the trauma and distress caused by this incident will have long-lasting effects on us parents and my child's well-being. To seek justice for my child and hold those responsible accountable, I visited the school, expecting a sincere apology and reassurances that immediate action would be taken. Unfortunately, the response I received from the school administration was nothing short of shocking. They callously laughed at my face and dismissed my concerns, declaring that no action would be taken against the bus driver or the teacher due to their familial relationship. Moreover, they had the audacity to offer me a bribe in an attempt to silence me. This blatant lack of professionalism, disregard for child safety, and absence of accountability is appalling. As a concerned parent, I implore you to understand the severity of this situation and take appropriate action. My only request was a simple apology letter from the school, which they have failed to provide. It is deeply disheartening to witness their lack of remorse or willingness to rectify the situation. In light of this harrowing incident and the school's dismissive response, I feel compelled to raise awareness among other parents in the community. I intend to make public the evidence I have gathered to highlight the grave concerns regarding the safety of children at ASASA Academy. No parent should have to endure the anguish and helplessness that I have experienced due to the school's negligence and lack of accountability. I kindly request your intervention and support in addressing this matter urgently. Please advise me on the appropriate steps to take to ensure the safety of all children at ASASA Academy and to hold those responsible accountable for their actions. I appreciate any assistance you can provide in rectifying this grave injustice.

School staff is very supportive and friendly.i like school uniform and kids get a homework for the week .the other interesting thing is show and tell activity every Friday ,where students talk about different topics which really built a confidence of kids. I can see everything that they do at school during day as it get posted on class dojo app. Ms .Carol is one of the best teacher of my daughter .she is very supportive, knowledgeable and always friendly. 08-13-2023 15:21I am writing this review to express my utter disappointment with the way the ASASA academy handled a distressing incident involving my friend's son. The incident itself was distressing enough, but the lack of empathy, accountability, and a simple apology from the school has been truly disheartening. My friend's son was unfortunately left behind on the bus when the driver was unaware that he was still asleep. The bus driver proceeded to drive all the way to their house without realizing the child was still onboard. It was only when the child woke up and found himself alone on the bus that he was able to alert someone for help. Thankfully, a kind-hearted lady found the child and recognized the urgency of the situation. The child informed her that he didn't know where he lived, prompting her to contact the police immediately. The police were able to track down the child's mother but did nothing more for their family, sadly. And the mother and father of the child were distraught for days finding and collecting herself evidence to figure out what happened with their child knocking on doors of the neighbourhood begging them to help them find footage through their home cameras they had, including the bus route and surveillance footage. This incident could have had far more serious consequences, and we are grateful that it was resolved without harm to the child. However, what is truly disheartening is the response from the academy. Despite the school's clear negligence in ensuring the safety of the children, they have shown a complete lack of accountability and empathy. They did not even fire or give any consequences to the bus driver or the teacher who was with the children on the bus. My friend, as the child's mother, rightfully expected a sincere apology from the school, acknowledging the gravity of the situation and their role in it. Unfortunately, even a simple apology letter has been denied. It is deeply concerning that an educational institution entrusted with the well-being of our children fails to take responsibility for their mistakes. Leaving a child behind on a bus is a serious breach of trust and should not be taken lightly. The school's refusal to address the issue with an apology is a failure to recognize the emotional distress caused to the child and his family. As members of the community, we entrust the school with the care and education of our children, expecting a high level of professionalism, accountability, and empathy. In this instance, the school has let us down. It is crucial for them to acknowledge their mistake, take immediate action to prevent such incidents from happening in the future, and provide the support and reassurance needed by the affected family. I hope that by sharing this review, the school administration becomes aware of the importance of acknowledging their errors, rectifying their policies and procedures, and providing the support that the affected family deserves. It is only through sincere accountability and commitment to improvement that the trust of parents and the community can be regained. This is something no parent or child should go through. The parents should contact the minister of education and minister of child services.

06-17-2023 09:14I would highly recommend Asasa Private School Academy to parents. My daughter went to the pinetown campus for junior kindergarten. She really enjoyed her time at school and looked forward to going back to school everyday. The teachers really cared about their students and seemed very passionate about what they do. Her teacher, Ms. Daupan is very kind, patient and shows genuine care for her students. I also liked the fact that they were given homework every week that they were supposed to submit every Monday. This helps parents know what their child is learning at school. They also keep you updated about what's happening through postings in the ClassDojo app. Also, they had show and tell activities every Friday that helps to boost the confidence level in students. I would highly recommend Asasa Academy to anyone who is looking for quality education that is also affordable.

03-30-2023 14:53Asasa Academy is one of the best preschools in Calgary that is government funded. I had my daughter and now my son who is attending preschool for 2020-2021 school year. Our son has learned so much in just 4 months as he came in late in November. The teacher is beyond amazing with the kids and come up with so many fun learning activities for them. She is very patient ,passionate ,knowledgeable and is very resourceful in delivering a unique and effective preschool curriculum. Thanks for giving our kids a fun learning experience and a great start for their future. I would highly recommend this school to our friends . We are also looking forward to another year in Kindergarten at Asasa Academy
