Hamilton Sewing

I use my machine (Husqvarna Jade) almost every day. When it stopped sewing properly I googled where to take it for repair. I dropped it off, was given a quote for repair and tune up (I was admittedly behind in the regular maintenance) and just over 2 weeks later my machine was ready as promised. The price was as quoted. It sews like new. Amazing. I am very happy with the results.

My friends and I bought a Longarmmer from Hamilton Sewing last year. Michelle was willing to help us understand how to use the Amara Longarmmer by giving us some lessons. Also, we had to get the bottom trolley replaced due to a fluke manufactured defective part. Michelle and Leonard came to our place, replaced the new part and gave great service. overall, their service was wonderful! We are so happy to have it replaced. They were very patient with us and letting us know what to do and how to be aware of the Longarmmer uses. They are kind and professional.

I bought my first ever sewing machine from Michele at Hamilton Sewing (Babylock Katherine) approximately a year ago, and I participated in the associated workshops to get to know my new machine. I had initially been looking at a store on Ottawa Street, but I'm so glad I decided to check out Hamilton Sewing. I would have bought the wrong machine. Michele is amazing to deal with. She knows what she is talking about, she is honest, and she is kind. I have returned to purchase various sewing accessories from her, and will definitely buy my next machine from her. My mother purchased a Serger from Michele several years ago, but hadn't taken the machine out of the box. Michele encouraged her to come in and participate in a course so she could learn her machine all these years later. I made a mistake as a beginner and needed a repair for my Babylock machine the first time I used it - I think I changed the needle incorrectly. Michele didn't even charge me for the repair since I was just learning. I highly recommend this shop. When you meet someone you can trust you stick with them.

Wow, extremely rude person in store, I am astonished at how they can be in business with such an attitude problem. I went in to ask about repair and she didn’t even want to hear anything about the issue and just threw out a random outrageous price so that I would just leave. Any other person would have asked me details, and suggested I bring it in to take a look, showing basic customer service skills, but that was asking too much of her as she just wanted me to leave. It was not like I went in right at closing and they are trying to close, it was midday, during their business hours! Just awful!

Appreciate the dedicated service offered by Hamilton Sewing. Their knowledge u0026 expertise as well as their kindness shines while maintaining business during this trying Covid-19 time. It may take a while to get your machine back when in for service but that's because they are so popular with sewers driving miles to get their machines here. It's a small store with a huge heart for their customers!

I bought a new Husqvarna from Michele over a year ago, and just took it out of the box recently. I had trouble with the threading, so took it back to her for some help. (I dropped in with no appointment). Michele was extremely helpful, and gave me some suggestions on how to use the machine better. I would highly recommend others making use of her services, and expertise.
