The Home Depot

I recently rented a garden tool from this location, and unfortunately it was not actually the correct tool for what I intended to do. After returning my rental I contacted the store and Joanne reached out to me shortly after my initial inquiry to gain a better understanding of my issue. She was kind and compassionate and let me know to ask for her next time I was in the store. Fast forward a few days and I arrived at the store right after Joanne had clocked out for her lunch break. One employee, I didn't catch his name, made a valiant effort to find her with no avail. He apologized for my troubles and instead of making me re-explain the situation, was so kind to offer me a gift card so that I could find resolution immediately. This kind of customer care goes a long way and I will certainly return to this location.

We go to this Home Depot a lot simply because of its proximity and convenience. It’s a large store, well organized and almost always has what you need. However, we needed a new outdoor drain pipe this summer and they come very long and have to be cut to size. When I asked a staff member to help me with this, I was told I have to cut it myself. Staff are not allowed to do this. I was shocked as I thought the whole point of Home Depot was to help you with these sorts of things. I ended up waiting a long time to find a random person who was competent to do this, who would help me. Contrary to the above, I was just at Lowe’s and their staff will help you cut anything you need. Far better customer service and experience!

False advertising, made me go back to take a photo of picture and then won’t honor prices. Cashier acts like you are taking money out of her pocket. Wont be back to this location. You can clearly see they are marked down! Bottom shelf is 10$ top is $15

This is my favourite Home Depot in North America! Inventory is great, the staff is wonderful and always super helpful. I have been walked isle after isle of Home Depot staff guiding me to the item, I have had how to and explanations on how to use the products and when I buy surplus or the wrong item, there is never a problem returning the item with a receipt. Thank you... I could not do my projects without you.

I was checking for a kitchen faucet and found one on 50% of, it was an online return.Was happy because it was a big brand, it was marked down at 125$. The cashier had to call the Plumbing department to verify the price,it took them 20 min to fix the new price to show up in the system.I asked the cashier before the purchase if it was an open box or just a return?She said no,its not an open box, just online return.i was happy,it was a very good deal.as soon as went home,i was ready to install it.i open the box and saw lots of scratches and some rust on the bottom. I have to go back and asked for refund. Lucky they have a very good return policy.i would not trust anymore these markdown product over there.

I always like going to the Home Depot on Macleod Trail. There is a lot of free parking. A huge selection of products for home renovations as well as appliances and lighting fixtures. In the summer they have a good garden center for your plants and trees. The staff are usually good and quite knowledgeable in the department they work in.
