08-30-2023 00:28Started the job then they never showed up again. Called for months then after a year and a half I hired someone else to finish the job. Later I get a bill from them and Vic tells me not to pay it because of my terrible experience. Four years later I get a notice from a collection agency saying I owed for the bill he told me not to pay!

04-22-2023 14:00We first used this company as they were the only ones that could come to fix our furnace last September. It was a hellish experience between trying to actually talk to someone and then the arrogant attitude of the technician. Even the elusive boss could not get ahold of his technician. They would only accept cash (hundreds of dollars) before leaving the premises and would not give me an invoice without a prolonged argument and my refusal to pay. The man did not carry an invoice book - his boss has the only one for the company apparently.They got the furnace running by replacing a module. Well, the furnace is doing EXACTLY the same thing again. This time it only took two calls over 7 hours to get the technician to phone us back. He eventually showed up and spent most of the time arguing with my husband. He decided that this time the problem was our thermostat even though the same problem was solved with the module last time. His diagnosis over the phone was an overheating motor - we questioned what those symptoms were that led to that conclusion sight unseen. It was based on his experience and no other explanation was offered. Eventually when my husband kept questioning him during the visit he said it was not his job to educate us. Arrogant and argumentative. We figure that they did not want to do warranty work as that costs them money. We decided to believe him and agreed that he could replace the thermostat and told him what we wanted - a 7 day programmable. He said no problem and showed up a half hour later with a thermostat that was not a 7-day programmable. While he was here we heard the thermostat call to the furnace, the furnace turn on and then promptly turn off. All of a sudden he is concerned with the furnace and not the thermostat and is currently playing in the basement with the furnace. I am not saying that we have been ripped off, either this visit or the first one last September, but this left me feeling violated somehow. I would suggest putting on more sweaters, getting under some blankets and waiting for a different company to show up

04-09-2023 07:35Absolutely horrific experience with the owner of the company. I phoned to have someone come back to fix work that was completed a few weeks prior. The issues were in fact not resolved, so I simply asked to have someone come back and finish what was started. Seemed like a simple ask. When I phoned, I was yelled at for about 5 minutes by the owner. He went as far as calling me dumb twice, and told me the issue was not with the heating system but with me, the operator, who was dumb and simply didn't know how to operate her own system. The plumber who came out was great, but I was horrified by the way I was treated by the owner of the company. Would not recommend to anyone as I would hate to have someone treated the same way I was.

04-05-2023 21:26Had issues with both my furnace and water heater leaking in the same day. Vic came over a few hours after I called, on a day when every other company I called said they couldn't book me in for 5-7 days. It was a quick fix, and I did not feel remotely overcharged for the service that I got. Would recommend Vic's services to friends.
