🇯🇵🎎🈹A beautiful calming dining experience for lunch or dinner. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates and loves food 💖. The warm welcoming staff and owners of Taku make sure you feel warm and full to the brim with delicious japanese food🎴. The rice on the sushi rolls are flavored, the fish is so fresh 🍥🍚. I recommend the Salmon Combo. A filling variety of salmon sushi rolls, yam roll and California roll. Comes with miso soup and fresh green salad 🥗 with ginger dressing. Staff will happily answer any questions you have about the menu. The beef ramen was also a favourite of mine if your looking for a filling tasty bowl of soup. What a gem and just outside of the Niagara Falls chaos. Taku is fantastic!!! The sushi is fresh, the katsu is crispy, and the tataki is seasoned perfectly... Take is really and truly a new favorite of mine, and I can't wait to go back!

Went there. Met the owners. Super friendly. Told them I didn't know what to order and told him I trusted him to pick for us. Wow. You can tell the dedication because of the details of the food. The food was amazing. Full of flavour and the amounts were perfect. Clean and tidy. Can't say one bad thing about the place. Cheers to Bob.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was not too busy with a very dim setting. Ordered spicy salmon, unagi sushi, suicide roll and chasu ramen here. The sushi were all fine although the suicide roll did have an interesting flavour. The suicide roll had a more minty Thai flavour which was unexpected but was fine for my taste. The ramen was a bit underwhelming as the taste was not too satisfying. I'd recommend the sushi over the ramen when trying this place out.

Meh. The area lacks decent sushi so it's understandable why it gets such high marks. Your run of the mill sushi joint that serves warm flavourless sushi rice. No rice vinegar, sugar or salt could be detected in the rice used for the nigiri or maki. Fish was fine and portions are pretty good I guess. Chicken teriyaki was horrible. No greeting to remember, nor was the service anything worth mentioning for a pick up order. Paid about $100 for this.

I am so glad I chose to have dinner here! After just one day on the touristy strip I was in dire need of a high quality, reasonably priced and authentic dining experience and that is exactly what I got here. Dining solo, without a reservation and arriving around 9PM on a Tuesday on July, I found a seat at the sushi bar. It was not very busy but still had a respectable buzz even for the later hour. There were two people working behind the sushi bar and one or two servers on the floor. Everyone working there was super friendly and it was obvious they cared about their work. I ordered a Sapporo on draft, pork gyoza, and the Suicide Roll. The menu notes order at your own risk, so of course I could not resist. It had a nice dry heat heat with a good build as I worked my way down the roll. Anyone who appreciates red pepper will love this roll. The gyoza were what I would expect for a dumpling. There were six of them with some nice grill marks. I asked for a recommendation on dessert and my server recommended the yuzu cheesecake, which had a delightful sweet/tart flavor and a firm texture. Perfect! This was a refreshing dining experience and I left fully satisfied by the meal and the friendliness and competency of the staff, and all for less than $40 CAD.

We were lucky enough to sit at one of the private tables. So private and comfy. Food was good. Wish they had grilled unbreaded chicken. Parking wasn't horrible. The spring rolls were so good. I could have just eaten them

Me and my friend was visiting this cute little restaurant on the weekend. Service was super friendly and we were attended to right away even though it looks quite busy. My server was really nice and patient, especially when we tried to fight who is to pay at the end( so sorry). Our food was delicious and has the perfect portion. Highly recommended.
