This place has gone down hill 😞 so sad use to be a good store. The location is good but the quality of service with the cashiers is not that great. Best cashier is Tim, worst one is Melonie she is so beyond rude. meat department is the best in this store though too notch but I give it because of Melonie. Also the deli department should remove the moldy proyfrom the olive bar.

I always have a great experience here. It’s not my main go to supermarket because of location but when I’m in the area, I love popping in to explore this beautifully organized supermarket and it’s curated aisles of all types of food. The deli section is small but very impressive and their baked goods can easily knock all other supermarket’s off the park. They also have ready made meals that I haven’t tried yet but they look delicious. Prices are very reasonable and comparable to other less customized supermarkets.

UPDATE AFTER A 1 STAR REVIEW I previously shared an incident were a gas pump kept my money, and I was told it would take 7 days to get the money back. Well, it never got returned and 2 weeks later, I was able to get in touch with the staff at that location and they were able to determine that in fact, the funds didn't go back. They refunded my money, and they were great to deal with from start to finish. Thank you Lindsay and team.

Wonderful experience getting a cupcake birthday cake for my daughter birthday. Staff were friendly and helpful; cake was beautiful and delicious. Price was reasonable as well.

Every time I go to this store they've raised the price of another staple food, sometimes as much as 40%. I know some PR person is going to jump on here and say that it's due to rising costs all while they post record profits. Something needs to be done about the price fixing of food prices in Canada and this company should be fined all their profits until they stop gouging people for the things they need to survive.

I am absolutely Appalled that Laura the cashier/stocker, would assume that I was stealing. I'm a middle class working white woman with no need to steal as I can pay for everything I need. Laura and security follow me and questioned me at the till thinking I put something in my purse. I had bought other items from a different store before going into safeway and yes they were in my purse. As I was looking for my phone, one of my previously purchased items came out and I was just putting it back in. I am disgusted by way I was treated there. They followed me like I was a criminal which I clearly am not being a nurse. I will not shop here again and I highly recommend you don't either. They will accuse you of stealing and then follow you around as close as they can. I am offended and frankly, quite hurt by Laura, as well as, safeway as a whole for this inappropriate treatment. If you want to be treated like a criminal then shop here otherwise take your business to Loblaws. Not only is it cheaper but they also price match. Good bye Safeway. I wish you nothing but the worst.

Nothing fancy here. But, it's clean everywhere. The deli when you 1st walk-in is so tiny, with the smallest salad selctions. The hot food dept needs more as well! Try different things, offer more variety! Offer buns, salad and drinks with a roasted chicken! Family meal deals would be nice. And expand the chinese food. It's always out!
