11-04-2023 19:22I had a great time coming here . Went to winners with my friend and of course what was supposed to be a quick trip turned into not being able to decide what to get. So many options of beautiful clothes. And shoes I got flats. N I love them lol. My friend got a bunch of clothes and they are very nice . Winners is a great place to shop for beautiful things.

11-04-2023 08:11What a terrible place! Let's start with the most glaring issue! I've consistently seen expired food in the meat department being sold to customers, some only 1 or 2 days expired (dangerous) some up to a week or two old being sold to customers (deadly). The most recent meat manager (Yusuf) mistreated staff, and only hired POC, now diversity is amazing and everyone should have an equal chance, but he was specifically only hiring POC and got rid of anyone who was of Caucasian origins, even if it meant hiring people who did not have the qualifications for the job. I've also seen tons of hairs because they don't wear hair or beard nets, they rarely wear gloves and even more rarely wash their hands! Tons of cross contamination which is very dangerous to consumers, and very hard to spot if you don't see it happening! Yusuf was also caught putting very expired products back onto the meat shelf, presumably to run a business very very disturbing and extremely dangerous! Avoid city market until they get their act together, or you're taking your life into risk!! Be aware!

10-06-2023 22:38Beautiful store, gorgeous displays. The patisserie counter is incredible, mountains of baklava and sweets to entice you. The sushi is actually amazing, very fresh! Groceries selection is a bit smaller, I noticed some of the dairy items were past their shelf date. Staff are friendly.

09-08-2023 16:33Customer service 0/5, the 2 stars is for the taste of the cake, even though it was a bit dry. I came on a break from work to grab a cake for a coworker. As I walked up to the counter to the bakery, I saw no one was there so I asked the ladies in another section for some help. They stated that she was in the back and to wait. Being on a time crunch, I had to ask someone else in deli for help and she actually went to the back to grab who was supposed to be working in the bakery. The lady who came you could tell did not want to be there. When I asked her to write happy birthday, I wasn't expecting it look like child scribbled all over the cake. It was messy, not neat and kind of embarrassing to present to my coworker. If someone does not have experience in these types of things, please don’t place them in that setting. I provided pictures below.

06-06-2023 16:16This store is located in the Brewery District in Downtown Edmonton. They have free parking space on the ground level and inside the building too which makes it very convenient during our long winter. The Loblaws City market is next to Winners retail store . This store is very well designed and very relaxing. The lighting is muted. They have a Bakery section and fresh cafeteria area. The cakes look so delicious , colorfully eye-catching and mouth watering. Some of their sales products are very well priced to sell quickly. It's a good supermarket with a variety of produce and products to choose.

05-07-2023 21:57I was in the store shopping on sun nov 12th and I was really shocked at how a manager screamed at what appeared to be a very stressed out employee when the young man expressed he was overwhelmed looking over multiple areas by the tills all alone. The older man/manager then started acting extremely passive aggressive by laughing with others, being strangly loud and overtly nice to customers who walked over to him in front of the younger man he yelled at to make it appear like he was unbothered or something. It was very bizarre to say the least. Honestly neither should be acting the way they were but the older manager person shouldn’t be yelling and acting like this in a store, especially with customers watching. Absolutely appalling behaviour from a what I’m guessing was the manager. I was going to cash in and spend my lotto winnings there but the energy that older guy was expressing was awful and I avoided going over to him and instead just paid for our groceries and left.

04-12-2023 17:18Love this store. It is a beautiful store and the decor is pleasing to the senses. It has everything to offer that you could want to eat. Everything is of high quality. Just love coming here to browse and looking at all the variety. Is it more pricey than say Superstore or Sobeys yes but you immediately you see the difference in the look and feel of the store. You can access the store from a heated underground parking lot. Back to the store, the patisserie alone is worth the visit. Just great quality food.

03-30-2023 12:08Would be good if all the meat didn’t expire in a day and the veggies were disgusting. That and the fact that when you go to the bakery no one is there and when you ask for someone it’s a major inconvenience. Save yourself the trip and head somewhere else. Probably one of the worst grocery stores I’ve been too.
