My grandson, who is an amazing artist, and I visited Opus when we were in Victoria in July. I was so excited to show him the possibilities in the store, and we were immediately invited to try new things - Posca markers CaranDache pencils, new graphite sticks we hadn’t seen . None of these were available to us where we lived . We picked up mixed paper pads, whatever we needed. Staff were so gracious! Yes, we spent a lot, but have both been painting virtually nonstop since, and he had shared with his girlfriend. I hope to order more throughOpus.

Excellent art supply store just beside Victoria's China Town. The staff here are extremely knowledgeable and they carry locals brands including the house brand paint brushes.

Lots of selection to choose from...i passed by calligraphy sets, oil, acrylic, water based paints, you name it, they likely have it! Also provide easels of all shapes and sizes and canvas! The staff were very kind and informative as well, did not feel pressured or rushed.

Friendly and helpful staff who are artists themselves. Wide selection of products for creating and framing. Easy access and on street parking available. Some products are unavailable.

The staff are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and for new artists looking for advice, don’t be shy and knowing the right materials and finding exactly what you need is such a treat, so ask questions! Great selection, and the website is helpful too. One of my favourite art stores.

Great place for any and all art supplies. I've used their pre-made art frames for various projects. Great materials and colors, all ready to go.

Well laid out art shop with a wide variety of products. Unfortunately, luggage restrictions for our flight home prevented a splurge.
