LASIK MD

Although I’m happy with my final results, I found the actual procedure a little but traumatizing. I was expecting the doctor to let me know what was happening each step of the way, as this is what I read in many reviews but instead he seemed rushed and not concerned about how I was feeling during the procedure. This would have made a big difference for me.

I am very pleased with my experience with LASIK MD! The whole process, from start to finish, was smooth, quick, and easy! The staff was very informative and happy to answer any questions that I had. For someone who was nervous about the process itself, Dr. Kenman Gan was very calm, kind, and informative throughout the whole procedure. I highly recommend it to anyone who may benefit from having this procedure. I am so happy with the results and would do it all over again!

After the pre surgery checkup I already booked my schedule for surgery the next day because someone just cancelled their appointment. Everything went smooth and no pain at all. Everyone is so professional and caring. Best decision of my life!

I had my surgery with Dr. Gan just about a month ago now and my vision is even better than 20/20! At reception, Bonnie, Sandra, Chantale were so warm and greeted me like family. Dr Purba is incredibly thorough in making sure you are good and ready for surgery. She will answer any questions or concerns you may have, and explain it in a way that you actually understand. During surgery Dr. Gan was great at explaining everything that was going on and continued to put mind even more at ease. Every step from paperwork to post surgery was flawless and I honestly couldn't ask for better eyesight! They really actually care about you here and want you to have the best possible experience. My husband also completed PRK yesterday and is already healing beautifully and seeing so much clearer than he ever has in his life. I highly recommend LasikMD to anyone who needs vision correction. From the initial consultation to the follow up post surgery the entire team was just amazing. Treatment plans were clearly explained and I appreciated the extra time that was provided to help me just before the procedure. The entire Victoria team was exceptional!

Overall a great experience. Everyone at LasikMD is super friendly and competent. The procedure itself was bearable and fast, without any pain. Maybe more transparency on why there is such a large price difference between the Standard and the Custom procedure would be appropriate. I never fully understood if I truly needed the Custom procedure or if the Standard procedure would've had the same results. (pretend you're explaining this to a 5 year old or a senior). But would definitely highly recommend.

The experience from start to finish was fantastic. They went over everything very thoroughly ahead of time so I knew what to expect. It was quick and painless, and only mild discomfort following the procedure. Highly recommend for corrective eye surgery.
