I came two nights in a row with my cat Jake. The first vet was amazing and caring. Her name was Dr Rentz and she was so sweet to Jake. She suggested urine analysis and I was glad she did since we find out he had an UTI. The 2nd vet was Dr Brown, she was nice but I felt that she wanted to leave the apts, I guess for her the apt was over and straight forward situation. To be fair I was emotional because I had not slept a lot due to Jake being sick the night before, and knowing that Jake has an aggressive cancer and it is a matter of time probably clouded the way I perceived Dr Brown. It was decided with Dr Brown that he must go on palliative care so it was a very hard news for me to hear. She gave a chart and went over it to help me with the palliative care and the decision for humane euthanasia. What I appreciated is that at no point none pushed for tests for no reasons. It was cleared that we could do x-ray and blood tests but in the end it won't change the treatment (palliative) and it would only be for my ease of mind. So for both nights usages I saw that the front staffs care, are courteous and friendly, the way they deal with the pets was heartwarming and make me smile at times. Thursday was insanely busy, and not once the staff demeanor changed. The techs helping the vet the same, each time one of them took Jake with them you could see the love they have for animal, how they spoke to him and yesterday's tech, she took the time to show me how to give Jake his meds, to the point of I was left handed or not and tricks in case it does not work. The way they come and speak the other owners in the waiting room taking their time to ensure the owners understand the meds and so on. And both Doctors were also great, they were open with the disease, the outcome and the way forward never pushing anything not required. The price was also good for emergency, my normal vet is 70$ and the emergency was 100$ for an apt..they will also transfer the last two days of notes to my normal pet clinic which I also appreciate. Because I came back the next day it was like a continuation of the night before so i did not have to pay the 100$ again which is nice. The clinic is also very clean. I will definitely come back if I have an emergency.

I can not say enough good about the assistant Yael who helped us through this visit, which is always stressful for a cat and owner! She was so kind and obviously loves the little animals she cares for and has their best interests at heart. She is exceptional. I also appreciated the thoroughness of the vet, who took quite a bit of time examining my cat carefully. I appreciated that my cat and I could wait in the car which was so much less stressful for her than waiting inside with the dogs. I would recommend!

Over all it was a great experience and they took great care of my boy when he stayed over night with them and dealt with me calling every often to check on him 😆 It would have been a 5 star, 10/10 rating but lost a point because of the communication with the front desk staff. I had a few people guessing/assuming based off my dog’s diagnosis (Pancreatitis) a general statement I guess? But one of these guesses had him up all night puking and us back at the vet bright and early the next day. When I asked the staff from the back we were dealing with, about what I was told over the phone she did not agree that was a good thing at all. All and all, my boy is doing 99.9% better and I’d bring him back in a heart beat! I would just try to keep talking to staff familiar with my boy specifically.
