I went here for Mother’s Day with my family and we enjoyed every moment of it. Walking in, it looked really quiet but the decor was very classic, from carpeting to the paintings to the furniture. Our server was amazing and his attention to detail was really impressive. Food wise, everything we had was amazing and that’s really hard to say these days. It also all arrived in time which we were pleased with. It was well worth the price

*Never disappoints* This is my second time returning to this restaurant and I'd highly recommend. Incredible customer service, delicious food and, great ambience. It can be pricey depending on what you order but, it's nothing out of the realm of what's expected for a restaurant of this caliber. Don't let the outside surroundings fool you, this place is a hidden gem.

Came here to celebrate 3 birthdays with family and friends. The restaurant was very empty and we asked to sit in a nice area. There was very poor lighting where we sat. They couldn’t fix the issue either. It was so dark that we could not see our main courses. The server was likely new, as he really did not know many of the house recommendations and was not helpful. Appetizers were ok, but my steak was ordered medium and got it more well than medium. Another steak was over cooked as well. Chicken was ordered and was quite salty. Even the appetizers were just ok. Ordered calamari, escargots and French Onion Soup. They were ok, but nothing outstanding and not what you would expect from a $$$$ restaurant. Ordered desserts as well and they were nothing amazing. This was my first time here and likely my last. We were 7 people and spent good money, but the overall experience was not great. What was really disappointing was that we mentioned about the poor lighting and back lights were out on which made no difference, and they didn’t offer to move us. Really was underwhelmed with this place. Unfortunately, I do not recommend. Don’t forget to follow me!

The service was good and I love the ambiance! There was only one other table on a Thursday night when we went. I love that it's not very commercialized. We had a few of the starters (I think the dumpling special) and I wasn't really impressed. I really wanted to love the Oysters but they didn't taste great and not a fan of the vinegrettes it comes with but I love that the Oysters come on cold stones rather then messy ice cubes. The complimentary olive bread is impeccable; I'd come here just for that and their Blazon Wine which we ABSOLUTELY LOVED! It comes with the territory but $14 - $20 per side is up there (none of the mains come with sides). I wasn't a fan of the Double Baked Potato. The Maple Brussel Sprouts were pretty good. I wouldn't mind the cost if they were mind blowing. I regrettably got the Tenderloin steak which I never usually order so it wasn't a fair comparison for me to other steaks but it was perfectly cooked and very tender. The meat quality was great. We were also charged for a birthday dessert for the table which I guess I should at expected that this point. I can't remember what it was but it wasn't great which is probably why I don't remember what we had. It was nicely decorated though. Overall, pricey of course - total for 2 people with a bottle of wine ($65), two apps, and sharing a main steak meal with two sides was around $350 + tip. I'd go back but I'd be very selective with how much I order.

I had the best steak of my life here on Valentine’s Day this year, my partner had the best crab legs they’ve ever tasted. Overall the food was amazing and the chefs here definitely know what they’re doing. The service and atmosphere was very rich and we did get quite a few stares for not dressing fancy enough for the place haha but that doesn’t matter because we still got served politely and our food was amazing. Kudos to the dishwasher

I went there for my wifes birthday and all the food was really good, the mushroom risotto is really really good as well as the Alberta beef mmmm so freaking good, the wine and atmosphere, the waiter was soo nice and had a great sense of humor, the sparkling watter and the wine Moscato I believe it was all really really good. I recomend this place 1000%.

Food is nothing short of perfection in every way (including the way it was cooked, temperature and taste). The service was also excellent. Everything we ordered was absolutely tasty. I can’t wait to come back when I’m craving a nice night out to enjoy some good food.

We went there for friends birthday. From the beginning we were treated like royalty. The server was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. He came many times to check on us. We ordered scallops and oysters for starters. Both were delicious and done to perfection. Maybe I would hold off on salt. The main courses - rack of lamb, Arctic char and risotto were absolutely delicious and served beautifully. I ordered souvinion blanc with my fish, but it was not the best. The dessert and coffee were perfect. We spend few hours at the restaurant, we felt looked after, amazing service and attentiveness. Thank you to the manager and Miles for making our celebration unforgettable. Will recommend the place to all my foodie friends.
