It’s too late to see the little porcupine like objects sticking out of one of my chicken thighs that I didn’t catch before eating, i just saw one of my chicken still had those filaments so I took the entire parts off the chicken‘s skin on that area and garbage it and I feel bad thinking my fave chicken wasn’t clean enough to eat. Sunrise Jerk chicken is one of my fave Jamaican dish and I don’t want to think that your food aren’t clean because of that. I recommend to just pluck them out before cooking. That’s the only negative I can say. Server are accommodating compared to Brampton restaurant most of the servers are rude. I am not happy most of the time when I go to that restaurant. Anyways, I like your server though. I have no issue at all.

I ordered jerk chicken with white rice and stew chicken with white rice. The jerk chicken was missing the jerk and the rice was undercooked. In the stew chicken plate I got a piece of chicken back, a chicken neck, the bottom half of a chicken leg bone and some chicken skins. The rice was also undercooked. Both plates were thrown out. This was my first time eating there and it will be my last. I gave them 1 star because zero was not an option.

The food hasnt been the same for a while now but yesterday was absolutely terrible. It was a last minute stop and thought that the food would be ok nothing special. But lawwdd gawwd the jerk chicken was sooo wet and tough. Not charred like how it used to be. The BBQ chicken was repulsive. After I took a bite I realized the chicken skin was soggy and slimy. The inside of the chicken was cooked but the tendons were stretchy it honestly looked like road kill or someone's intestines. My brain had a difficult time conceptualizing what I was looking at. The dumpling was ok. It was one of the most disgusting things I have experienced in a while. I was high and hungry and the food still didn't sweet me. But the guy working there was nice. IF YOU ARE A TRUE JAMAICAN DO NOT EAT HERE. CONSUME AT YOUR OWN RISK

I ordered 2 pieces of chicken, one fry, one jerk and a festival. The 2 pieces made one 🙄( thighs were half pieces) this is actually disrespectful to charge me for 2 full pieces and but give me 2 halves. What kinda cut back is this? I honestly wasn't in the mood to go back and get my money back. Dyam teef! Do better. As long as they serving half thighs, they will not get my money again! Unless the piece they cut off they add to the order..

What a GEM !! My new GO-TO place in town from now on. The flavours are layered just right and they keep on coming with every bite. I love the deep earthy notes to the jerk chicken followed by the spice on the back end! What an amazing meal. I tip my hat in the chef's direction. Also to the lady serving the food, you are amazing and an example for many to aspire to! Thank you !!!

My colleague treated me For lunch here. She said they had buy 1 get the second for free. So we tried it out and the jerk chicken in oxtail sauce was so delicious. The next day we went again and this time we got the King Fish in a bed of rice and veggies. I like how fresh the food is. The staffs are friendly and the place is clean. They’re also generous with the portions. We’re most likely going to keep ordering from here. 🤤

Everything they gave me was affected. NOT EVEN ONE ITEM was good enough to be served. This is unbelievable and cannot be accepted The order is ruined in many ways: 1. It supposed to be buy 1 get 1 but i only got 1 2. the Coleslaw was extremely terrible. As you can see in the photo, the portion was very bad, not even 1/2 the cup. The taste was like it was made last week. 3. Even I only got 1 chicken rice. The taste was like someone's vomit. The curry was super salty and bad. The rice was cold and solid. The chicken maybe the best in the worst, still had a bit taste but salty and kinda stale . Conclusion: They gave me the worst dish ever since I've been using uber eat.
