08-11-2023 23:49We had to bring our dog to Victoria a couple of times for radiation treatments and we stayed at The Vic because it was dog friendly and only 5 minutes from the vet hospital. We stayed here again the second time, not just for the location, but the service was impeccable. Adam Karmali, the Guest Relations Manager, was so kind, compassionate and helpful when it came to arranging our booking. Everyone was so kind and polite and we felt really comfortable staying here. I would recommend calling the hotel directly to book. When I called the 1-800 number the first time of booking, the person answering was in the States and said the hotel was booked up. I decided to contact the hotel directly to say how disappointed I was that the hotel was full, but Adam said it wasn't and got me a pet friendly room! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

07-21-2023 14:39Clean and service was fine, but for some context, for a place with nearly 5 stars and prices over $300 a night, this is not comparable to the Fairmont or Sheraton (which I would consider 5 stars and worth $300 a night). The beds were comfy, and the shower was good, but it feels like they ran out of money while renovating. It smells like paint, there are light fixtures hanging at eye level in the middle of walking areas, and trim around the shower and kitchen is unfinished. Also, if you have children, the windows are very low and don’t have screens or lock - serious safety issue!

04-19-2023 03:29We had an amazing stay here! It’s close to downtown so even if you don’t have a car, it is a quick bus ride. I personally loved the rainfall shower and the detachable shower head. The room interior looked really nice and they have a large entertainment lounge where you can watch TV and play pingpong and board games. 5/5.

04-06-2023 10:24Stayed here when it was the Ramada. Rooms have been updated as have the bathrooms. Our room was updated. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Had access to netflix through roku. The tile entrance is a bit slippery upon entering from the outside and it is cool on bare feet.

03-31-2023 19:51A friend and I stayed two nights at this hotel earlier this month. It was clean and quiet and not far from downtown Victoria. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The nightly weekend rate was more reasonable than comparable hotels in the area. The cafe was a nice place for breakfast. I would stay here again.
