2 things I want to say in case you don't want to read my review. 1. I have traveled around the world to many places and always looked for the top rated restaurants to try. I've been to many Michelin 2 stars restaurants in Europe, America and Asia. Was impressed by many but nothing like my experience here in jérôme Ferrer. 2. If the top rating is 5 stars, then this restaurant deserves an 8 stars. It's hard to describe the experience so I'll just focus on the food and service. The service was excellent. To be frank, the team here were so well trained, it gave a different meaning to server. As a president and CEO of a company, I found their skills and manner impressive. They earned my respect. It's not just being friendly and attentive, they need to know how to handle food in a sense of preparing it by finishing cooking and present it. The restaurant decor was simple and tasteful with a lot of thought on presenting and experience the food, brought the patrons to a new dimension of experiencing food in a very different manner. I will just pick up a few courses to comment: Onion soup - The presentation is creative and labor intensive, the soup itself is extraordinary. Flavor is excellent, the cheese crisp was a great touch. Lobster cappuccino - The intense flavor of the lobster made this the best lobster bisque I ever had. The cheese cookies just took it over and beyond. The Foie gras - To cook Foie gras this good is quite challenging, may be not to a professional chef... The cutlet was cooked medium. Many chefs do it medium rare so it can be very tender and soft inside. This piece of art is medium cooked but still soft. High quality Foie gras without noticing any tendon. Impressive. Lobster - Let alone the presentation, but the lobster is extraordinarily. I have had so many lobster made in different way but this perfectly cooked lobster with perfect tenderness is amazing. The sauce used in different dishes not only didn't overwhelm the flavor of the dish but enhanced it. That's why it's so impressive about it. Getting a good meal is easy, but the creativity and the artistic of composing the menu and Cook the food so perfectly is just amazing. One has to come and experience it to know what I'm talking about. Having been to so many great restaurants, I'm confidence to say this is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at and it's not just about the great food but the whole package: The experience.

Dining at Jerome Ferrer Europea was one of the things I should do before I die. We had a wonderful dream come true experience for our dinner started with a welcome note from the Chef. We choose the Birthday menu from a waxed sealed letter. We certainly thought we were so lucky to find the best deal in this 3-Michelin-star worthy restaurant. The talented Chef and his attentive staff magically turned the dining into a fairy show and made us feel we were so special. The food was very delicious with beautiful plating. The 8 course gastronomic dinner started with pieces of beef jerky with gold flex hang on transparent branches, blue crackers in a garden rock, gathered some dry green leaves cheese on petite gravels. On another plate, the thick fog gradually disappeared to reveal the white sea shelves. All those with soup in grilled onion were the 1st course. We could not describe enough our full of surprise of all the amazing dishes from beginning to the last dessert. We were overwhelmed by the thank you note that was brought to the table in a wooden box, full of coffee beans with chocolate on the top. We also brought home very cute chocolate boxes with the restaurant logo as gifts from the Chef. Thanks to Jerome Ferrer restaurant for giving us a chance to enjoy the extraordinary dinner and memorable experience! Strongly recommended to all food adventurers!

One of the best culinary experiences we ever had, food was exceptional, artistically well thought out. This was as much a meal as it was an experience. It was even more incredible that they actually have a kids full experience, so we had our 7 year old son with us, and he came along for the ride, and he loved every bit of it. This isn't for the faint hearted when it comes to pay the bill, as this is on the upper highest tier of restaurants. Well worth every penny.

Very nice place to have a fancy dinner for special occasions. Food, service and experience were near perfect. It is a pricey dinner for 8 or 10 services but it is worth it for special occasions.

Great fine dining experience. Took the chef's tasting menu. All items were nicely presented and service was excellent.

I’ve been here a few times now. The first time the service was subpar: the waiter was a bit arrogant and we felt rushed throughout our meal. The food was good, but we were definitely not impressed. We went back a second time to see if our first experience was a fluke. A different person waited our table this time and the entire experience was exquisite this time! Everything we ordered was beautifully presented, savoury and perfectly portioned. The waitress was charming, attentive and very professional. We were so happy we went back and didn’t stay with our first impression. Well worth the extra money: I highly recommend this restaurant!

I would say it’s good but not as I expected because there are so many positive reviews online. But firstly, the waitress would never reply to my thank u except one waiter say u are welcome madame. I really expect some higher lever service. And secondly, the deserts seem a lot but not very delicious. Nowadays customers would like to taste something really exciting other than a lot of sugar like cotton candy

Simply amazing modern and original take on French cuisine in downtown Montreal near Belle Center. The restaurant has a very elegant setting with extensive wine menu from Europe and US with heavy emphasis on French wines. There is a sommelier who can easily guide you to a wine selection of your preference or just follow the wine pairing they have if you want to be amazed. The food comes in an 8 or 10 course fixed menu. All dishes provide a tasteful presentation with amazing flavors. All my dishes were simply excellent and well prepared. I was full by the 5th course and the main dishes still to come. Guest are treated to a special surprise as you are escorted thru restaurant to an upstairs curtained room where you are transported to a children's cookies and candied nut selection that is as whimsicalas it is tasty. This is a place to visit when you have at least 3 hours disposable and may not be good idea if you are short on time. Service is top shelf and you are always only a few minutes from regular visits by the various staff. Worth a visit when Montreal and have time for an amazing culinary French experience.
