49th Parallel Cafe

Nice place for yummy lattes and delicious donuts! They have their own bakery at the back of the cafe to ensure these donuts always comes out fresh, spongy and amazing. The staff we have met were very friendly and helpful also. We went there twice within a week just to try out all the flavor. Will definitely go visit again if next time back to Montreal!

Can’t emphasize how much space this place has, even has a terrasse outside for the summer. Great place to grab a coffee with a colleague. The staff are helpful and polite and service is always quick. My favourite part is that there are vegan donuts. Absolutely delicious.

I’m not normally a beignet person but this place is the exception. 49th parallel has excellent beignets, every day they have a few specials which are difficult to resist. Delicious, fresh and with flavours you won’t find anywhere else, their beignets are a must in Montreal. Their sandwiches are also quite good. I took the citron fromage beignet and my friend had the peanut butter and jelly.

Great coffee, best donuts in town! The maple syrup one is a little bit too sweet, since I came before, the coffee flavor and the pistachio are the best.

Love this place! The interior is magnificent. Donuts are to die for. Staff is very friendly. The place could be so packed you could barely hear yourself but it’s still worth trying. We tried the blueberry donut and the caramel brûlée as well as a chocolatine. yummy! For hot beverages we had a mocha, a latte and chai latte. All were great. I especially love their cups. Super beautiful with their theme and interior. Also noticed they have a salty menu which I’d love to try someday!
