Liuyishou Hotpot Burnaby

Excellent service and very delicious food! As you can see the plate was CLEARED! The ambience was also very cool with trendy K-pop playing in the background. To add that this was my first time here but I’M COMING BACK FOR SURE! ❤️ Big ups to the team and management. Highly recommend.

Amazing hot pot experience! The meat and seafood were really fresh! And the service here was the best I've ever had! Paris really took care of us while we navigated around different sauces. She was patient and took time to help us prepare a very good mix of condiments. To top it all, they made sure that we were treated special as it was my birthday! Would highly recommend this outlet compared to the one in Robson for these reasons. Please note that this burnaby one does not have all you can eat option!

I wasn't very satisfied with this place. The prices are so expensive and the place isn't great when it comes to service, quality or the cleanliness. It was super dirty on the floor and where the stove pot is kept and I had to ask for it to be cleaned. The service was not good too. We ordered a meat platter (27$) and single broth (22$). When we started eating, another server came and asked why we were not helping ourselves to the 'buffet ' appetizers and sauces. So we went and took some sauces and appetizers (not many options). I was surprised to see a bill of 7.50$ for two of us for the sauces. Noone explained this to us and when we were paying, the person at the counter showed that it's written in a tiny corner on the menu. We wouldn't have got the sauces had we known we had to pay so much per person. The food that we ordered was hardly enough for two. The meat is so thinly sliced that its not even enough for one person. Other places provide noodles, and veggies complimentary. I have been to places that have combos for soup, noodles, veggies(mushroom, lettuce, tofu), fish balls, shrimp and choice of meat for 30$, with very flavourful broth. For the price you pay, you need to get atleast the service and cleanliness right. The broth was spiced well but had too much lard in it. Overall, disappointed. They also solicit 5* google reviews for a free dessert so I feel ratings aren't really accurate.

Service was really nice as was the food. The fried rice was especially yummy. The big meat platter around the pot was cool. I would recommend eating here!

Great staff. We loved the dragons beard and the broth was fantastic. Will come back again. The smoky plum sauce enhanced the flavor of all our dishes.

We love coming here to relax and just have awesome hot pot. Super friendly and attentive service, good broth (especially the pork bone broth), and lots of items to choose from. The sauce buffet is what we like best about this place. We also like the convenience of free underground parking just behind the building!
