09-14-2023 20:34I tried their sister venue a few weeks ago, so thought I'd try them out for lunch today. Food was fresh and delicious. Staff still a little confused, however they've not long opened, so give them some time and I'm sure they'll be great. The dishes were all at the special rate of $3.80 (train) and they were busy enough to require two levels of food to be going round at the same time. Give this place a visit if you're looking for a city centre sushi train!

09-10-2023 22:02Return visit date/time: 4 April 2023, 1:30pm Return visit date/time: 3 April 2022, 2:00pm Original visit date/time: 25 March 2022 Time: 13:30 We arrived without a reservation and were seated with ease (but we were just after the lunch rush). Staff were friendly and helpful. Sushi/nigiri was of good quality. Raw tuna was good, it didnt taste frozen and had ok flavour - I use this as a bench mark because it's difficult to find goid raw tuna in Australia. Raw salmon was excellent - this is my other bench mark. I compare the tuna and salmon to my experiences in Japan. We ordered off the ipad and also took items from the train. Everything was great. Nigiri plates may be slightly more expensive than comparable places on the mainland. This was a good first time sushi train experience for an elderly relative who has asked to go back (and we will make a return visit).

03-29-2023 03:48This is one of our regular places to have a quick affordable lunch. The food is good and fresh, and service efficient. The sushi conveyor belt is always well stocked. We found the restaurant a bit cold this time, as there was a winter draught coming through the open entrance counter.
