Went here for gluten free fish and chips food was amazing service was great very nice people

Supporting local businesses during this challenging times, we ordered by phone a couple of different fish, a variety of souvlaki, potato cakes and minimum chips to feed a hungry mob for dinner. By the time we got there, the piping hot orders are almost ready and wrapped up quickly.

Got here at 4:20pm today to place an order. Ordered my families food, then as I went to order myself gluten free was told they aren’t taking gf orders past 4pm but they will make an exception which was very nice of them but I definitely would have ordered more gf food if they were actually taking these orders. As I went to walk out, I noticed I was charged for an additional grilled flake. When I went back to get the refund, I was told by the gent serving that that is what I asked for and he was a bit rude about it. I had my order written down on my phone so I knew I didn’t ask for any extras. When I came back an hour later to collect my food the younger boy serving gave me one tray. I questioned him shouldn’t there be more and he then said oh it wasn’t my order and gave me another one. Again I questioned why there wasnt another tray as I should have a seperate one for gf and he was confused, read the receipt again and gave me then 2 trays in total. Went to my car and opened them up and it was a completely different order so went back in. I quoted what I ordered and as he went to give me another tray I could see what was in it and told him again that wasn’t my order either. At this point he was trying to read from a receipt he had, and I even gave him my receipt to show what I had ordered. Even the older gent working quoted to him what I had ordered and I did too. He wrapped the tray up and gave it to me. Got in the car and opened it up again to realise the order was once again wrong with this time receiving 4 fried flakes instead of 2 grilled, 2 fried. Not a huge deal but grilled did cost extra and I have 2 family members that hate fried. I just don’t understand how it could be messed up so many times, even after the receipt being in front of him, me telling him my order and the other gent working repeating my order. I just gave up and went home. Extremely disappointed with the service. It’s Good Friday, I know they are busy but to mess up an order at least 4 times. The food was good, bit cold after all of that but with the customer service, I won’t be returning

I love the fact that they do gluten free- and they are so careful with it! We always order here as my mum needs gluten free and loves it! Never a bad meal!

The angry, obnoxious geriatric gent serving here is an absolute pig! Cash preferred is fine however when people don't have cash expect his attitude to change as he sneakily charges you more! Food mediocre u0026 zero customer service! Disgraceful business! 1 star to simply warn people not to bother 👌

Love this place! The couple that run this shop are lovely and they give you lots of chips! Their chips are soooo perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They get the salt level perfect each time too! The fish I always order is the gummy one and it’s so juicy and delicious! Never dry. This place is definitely our go-to fish u0026 chip shop! Highly recommend
