Forgotten Valley Country Retreat is an absolute treasure! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene and peaceful ambiance of this hidden gem. The amenities were impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable and refreshing stay. The accommodations were cozy, and the bathrooms were very clean. We were impressed by the attention to detail throughout the property. it was a dreamy escape into nature's embrace. The breathtaking views, lush greenery, and soothing sounds of the nearby creek created a truly relaxing atmosphere. We found ourselves unwinding and rejuvenating at every turn. Another fantastic aspect was its proximity to town, where we discovered an amazing pub and bowling club. Would highly recommend booking your next getaway at Forgotten Valley ❤️

Wow! Where do I start? This property is so beautiful. We brought the whole family and some friends out with us. The little ones had so much room to run around and tire themselves out, they especially loved the swings. Each couple had their own space and bathroom which was lovely, with multiple large communal spaces for dinners etc. If you're after a quaint little country getaway without traveling too far from the city, I couldn't recommend this stay anymore! The owner was so lovely and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

What an absolutely wonderful hidden getaway. If you're looking for a relaxing and peaceful holiday destination, without having to pay a fortune for accommodation and location, then this is the place! We took our family and friends from the south coast to an out-of-Sydney weekend break and everyone loved it. The kids entertained themselves the whole time exploring the grounds, playing in the kids corner in one of the lodges, and burning off their energy on the play equipment in the yard. Town is pretty much around the corner, but the property is off the main road away from any noise or traffic. We had a surprisingly delicious lunch at the bowling club, and you can't miss out on a having a great feed at the pub. Town is small, but has all the amenities you need, including good coffee. Finished off with a bonfire in the firepit on the property, what more could you ask for. The owner added little extra touches in the lodges and in each room which made us feel so welcomed and at home. Definitely coming back here again!!! Thanks again. 😊❤️

Would not recommend. Whilst the location and the property itself is beautiful, the accommodation definitely is not. Paid quite a lot of money to stay here for a weekend away and was quite disappointed with what I walked in to upon arrival. The kitchen was filthy, the drinking glasses, plates, cutlery, etc all had to be washed before we were able to use them. The linen was stained, the showers did not work properly, there was mould and the place has just obviously been neglected in a big way. I tossed up whether or not to leave a review as I tried my best to be understanding, given the floods and covid, I imagine it would be difficult to keep on top of things, however, given that these were not just minor issues, it is a health and safety risk, and the fact that other people are clearly having the same experiences and your inability to manage the complaints effectively is the reason I have chosen to leave this review. This place absolutely needs attention before I would recommend anyone stay here. I can deal with things being old and I didn't expect a 5 star resort. However, clean and safe I absolutely do expect.

It's a superb place to relax u0026 unwind. Rustic country style living. Close to nature, sounds of birds u0026 nature. Also, with serene u0026 very country views of mountains u0026 valleys u0026 the river. The villas are tastefully furnished u0026 decorated, clean u0026 very comfortable. Kitchens are well equipped. With little personal touches, so lovingly left by the owners. We love Forgotton Valley Country resort💖💝🤩💐. We wish we could live there. Thanks to Shani u0026 the owners on a job well done👍👏👏👏🌹

Had a wonderful stay here with friends. Hosts were fantastic and location and amenities were great. Highly recommend if you need a place to relax, reconnect and unwind with friends or family.

This is such a special place, with wonderful energy and amazing hosts. There's flexibility to organise so many different events, work or family. As there are no next door neighbours and it's so spacious, with a beautiful countryside view and a backdrop of the mountains, it really feels as if you are in the middle of the country. But you are just one minute drive from town, which makes it so easy. Fully recommend!
