08-27-2023 02:18Before ordering, the restaurant provides a sample pot of each curry and biryani on offer, which made for a great tasting experience! It helped me choose a curry I normally wouldn’t have ordered, and it was delicious. Reasonable price, great taste, solid portion sizes, and lovely staff. A nice hidden gem in Southport.

08-05-2023 06:02Okay, Not Going To Lie. I Have Struggled With The Rating for This Restaurant. After Reading MANY Google Reviews From Fellow Google Reviewers. I Finally Paid a Visit To Indish - Indian Restaurant Located on Scarborough Street Southport. Visited Sunday 3/7 at 12.15 pm. First Impressions - NOT Great. Exterior Windows u0026 Glass Doors Were Dirty u0026 the Restaurant Appeared Closed !! I Pushed Open the Door u0026 Asked if They Were Open. The Waitress Who was Setting Up Advised Yes. Had Checked Google for the Menu u0026 Tandoori Chicken was on the Lunch Special Menu. After Ordering, The Manager/Owner Advised, They Didn’t Have Tandoori Chicken, (Must be the Only “Authentic” Indian Restaurant that Doesn’t Have Tandoori Chicken Available !!). Not to Worry, She Will Substitute With a Chicken Tikka Lunch Special, Which Includes a Can of Soft Drink. Also Ordered a Mango Lassi, Butter Naan, Ordered the Cucumber Salad, which was Somehow Substituted for Raita (yoghurt Dip) u0026 Also Ordered Papadums. The Chicken Tikka Arrived First. No Soft Drink or Lassi. Went to the Fridge u0026 Grabbed a Can of Drink. The Mango Lassi u0026 Naan Took Over 30 minutes to Arrive. The Yogurt u0026 Papadums Took 50 minutes. To The Waitresses Credit, She Apologised u0026 Admitted to Forgetting Them !! On The Plus Side, Everything Tasted Fabulous, Although the Tikka Dish Was Fairly Small. The Tikka, The Naans, The Lassi, Dip u0026 Papadums Were Beautifully Presented u0026 Very Good.

05-30-2023 20:59We were asked if it was our first time here, and whether we were vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Then we were given generous test samples for each type of chicken curry they have. There were about eight. We picked one chicken curry to have with naan. Then we ordered a mutton biriyani which was the star item! It was delicious. The only thing lacking in curries was gravy. Otherwise the taste was on point. I would definitely eat from here again. They have high chairs for kids. Atmosphere is pleasant. Saw a lot of delivery guys walking in and out of the restaurant which further proves the point that people love eating from here. It’s open till late which is another plus for me. Overall it was a really good dining experience.

03-27-2023 21:19PS.. as of 30 November... I can only say I am disappointed... actually.. DISGUSTED.. by the changes to save money from what was once the best Indian restaurant in Southport.. I will never eat here again 😒... neither would any person who has any self respect... the owner has now made a grab for money at the expense of his clients.. Should you go to the food court in Australia Fair... you will get better food not to mention service... DISGUSTING
